You Think You Run Bad?
Bejamin1, Jun 11 2007
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 100 hands and saw flop:
- 7 out of 13 times while in big blind (53%)
- 1 out of 13 times while in small blind (7%)
- 6 out of 74 times in other positions (8%)
- a total of 14 out of 100 (14%)
Pots won at showdown - 0 of 1 (0%)
Pots won without showdown - 0
Just call me the Ice-Man.
I Run Bad! :(

This Mornings First 500 Hand Session on 50NL, -$60.00. The largest pot I won was $9.00! This is basically the third day in a row like this. Thank God for bankroll management because pokerstars is raping me in the ass.

50NL Cruising
Bejamin1, May 23 2007
I sunk your battleship. I have been giving many opponents that feeling lately. Todays session was good, ran well again and played well for the most part although I was displeased by some of my loose plays towards the end of sessions. Overall up +$330.00 through 2k hands on the day. Goal of putting aside minimum $50.00 a day automatically, and challenging myself to reach up to $200.00 on a daily basis.
I have also been attempting to find ways to make poker less of a grind and give myself more fun. Multi-tabling cash games gets boring fast. So I've decided to learn MTT's a bit on the side. Just playing in one or two MTT's while having 4-6 cash tables open beside that allows me to play a longer session because I don't want to donk of my MTT if I go deep. Seems to be effective for helping me get more hands in.
GL all, wish me luck.
50NL Is Swell :)
Bejamin1, May 21 2007
Well in a combination of running well and playing my A-Game over the last 4 or 5 days I'm playing a very profitable game at FR 50NL. Although I am not playing near enough hands. I also managed to win and sell a $530.00 seat to the Sunday Million next week. This gives my working 50NL BR a bit more breathing room as I will continue to cash-out funds to save up for school this coming fall. Once I have the money put aside I will shoot for 100NL as quickly as my play can carry me there. Wish me luck.
Working BR: $1500.00
School Savings: $2.9k of $5k goal
Movin On Up'
Bejamin1, May 05 2007
Well, after 35k hands at 25NL I will in the next few days be moving on up to 50NL. It's been a long and uneventful ride. The game 25NL I can beat very easily and understand its dynamics no problem. When I play my A-game I do just fine. Unfortunately due to a lack of focus and concentration and dedication to playing a lot of hands every day I've spent rather longer on 25NL than I intended. That being said I think the month and a half has taught me some lessons and I think moving up through the stakes one by one has its value. I shall pledge to play 5k hands per day for my summer break off university which runs from may through to the first of september. Thats all for now guys, wish me luck.
So Spewy.

Well I'm in the midst of exams and the senators are having another gut-wrenching playoff run. Needless to say I've accidently brought my emotions and hopes for my team to the table this week and it's resulted in me playing my d-game at the tables. Down about $150.00 or so on 25NL over 10k hands in the past week. Reviewed every session in PT, obvious that I'm just playing spewy and stupid even in small pots. I've seen enough clear mistakes to see me piss away about $350 of would be profit. Yes I had bad-beats, many of them, but I find that irrelevant as whining about that would not help me improve my game.
