OK after Yesterday's Suckout, I move back down to NL5 to grind back up to NL10

Sadly things didn't get any better and the suckouts continued.

Gotta hope tomorrow's a better day~.

Worst Downswing of My Life
  jiykong, Feb 21 2011

So I just moved up to NL10 and WoW was it the worst RIDE EVER.

I'm running SO BAD, but I guess thats part of poker XD

And my QQ/KK got owned...My tptk got owned... everything got owned XD

I won't blame 100% on luck though since I know that some plays were either just bad/tilt

Gotta go back down and grind it back up again.

2/6/11
  jiykong, Feb 06 2011

OK so I started playing and I only played 6 games

2 18-man sng
2 27-man sng
1 180-man sng
1 9-man sng

I'm still trying to master ICM which is getting a bit easier after someone explained how he does it, but requires practice.

In the 18 man sng I was able to get 4th and 2nd place. 4th place finish was a bit fencey mistake. Had 88 and shoved over a raise thinking it was a blind steal but the other guy had KK. In the 2nd place I got sucked out 88 vs 87.

In the 27 man sng I finished pretty far from the money primarily because of suck outs and needed shoves losing to a caller.

In the 180 man sng I got all the way up to final 45, but then ran into a situation of all in with AK, AK, JJ and the JJ won. A bit unlucky to be in that spot but ok.

New guy
  jiykong, Feb 05 2011

New to liquidpoker but old to poker. I've been a losing player overall, but got sick lucky and won money a while ago.

But I know that it was purely based on luck and now I'm trying to actually improve my game.
