Over the break I started talking to one of my old buddy Bryan who I used to chill out with a lot when I was younger. He moved into a house with a bunch of my other really good friends who I still chill with all the time. We all grew up playing hockey together. He told me that hes been grinding it out playing at Fallsview in Niagra and doing pretty decent. Anyways he knew that I played a lot of poker and asked me if I wanted to play in a home game that he was having. Hes asked me to play in it before but Ive always had otehr plans and what not and never end up begin able to play.
He kept saying how he had these huuuuuuge asian fish with lots of money that always play in his games and will drop a shit load of money. My other buddies kept trying to get me to come out and play another game of pond hockey with them but I couldnt resist and went over to Bryans place instead. I was the first one there so we decided to light up a joint while we were waiting. Finally 3 of his buddies showed up. 2 asians, Vu and Franky, and another one of my old buddies Sam. We decided to play .5/1 after a lot of debate. Vu kept bitching about how he wanted to play higher but only 3 of us had enough money on us to play that game so we decided that it would be cool if you wanted to buy in more then 100bbs and made the max 300. I ended up buying in for $200. Anyways after about 20 minutes I could see that this was probably the best game I have ever played in and Bryan was right. Vu would be in EVERY pot with garbage, go all in with garbage, bet all 3 streets with garbage and then fold everytime you popped him or call you down with the worst fuckin hand you have ever seen. I would have played this game all night.
After a while I found out that Vu was an even bigger degenerate then I first thought. He started talking about how he LOVES to play Blackjack. He loves it so much that he dumped 150k at Brantford Charity Casino. He actually signed a paper to not allow him into that casino anymore. LOL!
After about 3 hours Vu was stuck about $500 and the reloads just were not stopping. YAY! I had about $350 in front of me and look down at 10s10h. I pop it up UTG and both Sam ($250) and Vu ($200)call in the blinds. Flop comes 10c, 3d, 2d. I bet out, Sam raises me and Vu ships!!!! So I call and Sam puts the rest in. Vu flips over 34 and had fuck all like usual but sam had the nut flush draw. Anyways long story short he missed and I ship the nice big pot!
We played for about 2 more hours after that and I won a few small pots here and there. Finally Vu, decided that he didnt want to play anymore... he was down 1k! Him and the other guys left and I was up just over $600. Needless to say.... next time Bryan asks me to play in one of his home games and Vu is there... no matter what I am doing... I will be there lol.
Well its finally cold enogh up here to play some good old pond hockey with the boys... sorta lol. Today I was playing witha bunch of my buddies and I fuckin fell right through the ice. I was panicing for like 5 seconds then I realized I could touch the bottom lol. My buddy pulled me out and it was all good. Except that I was freezing cold. Good thign my buddy lived just around the corner. Went and dried all my shit off and then got back to the pond and played a few dirty games. Cant wait to play a few more games before I Get back.

On Monday Randy and Lahey from the Trailer Park Boys. The boys and me started drinking at my place before the show. We watched the Leafs game and to no surprise... they lost... again. God there fucking terrible lol. Anyways around 9:00 we went down to the show. The show was at my school (Fanshawe) and when we got there the line up was fucking huge...
So after seeing this line we were all a little bummed becasue it didnt look like we were going to be able to get in. We were walking outside when all the sudden I hear "Hey Mitch! What up bro?" It was my buddy Mooney from back home. He was a bouncer at the school pub where the show was and he let me and all my buddies in the side door. SICK! We got in at just the right time. Literally right after I got a beer from the bar Randy and Lahey started. They were absolutely hilarious. The whole crowd was dying laughing and I had a great time. Heres a few pictures from it:

On Thursday a couple of my buddies from back home came down to go see Stone Temple Pilots. Im a pretty big fan of these guys and they rock hard so I was pretty excited to see them. We sat around drinking and watching the leafs lose yet again! Around 8:00 we went down to the show. The show didnt start until around 9:00 but by then I was just shitfaced lol.It was a hell of a good show though. They played just hit after hit after hit. Last night (Friday) my room mates buddy got us all VIP at this bar called the London Tap House. Its a really nice bar that you gotta get dressed up to go to but its fucking retarted expensive. ($6 a beer which is a lot here) So were all over at my room mates buddies place when he gets a call from Tap House saying they had an opening and they were going to send us a party bus. We all thought it was a joke and someone was pulling our leg. So Im taking a piss in there bathroom and I look out the window and see a HUGE Grey hound sized bus pulling in. They werent joking. The best part was that it was free too lol. The bus was pretty crazy. Lots of lights, boose, big screens everywhere. Ive never been in one before but it was pretty cool.
When we got to Tap house it was pumpin! The line was huge but since we had VIP there was no waiting in that lol. Everyone pitched to get bottle service which I have no idea how much it was but it was prolly fucking rediculous. Besides Tap house being way over priced it also gets WAY to crowded in there. By 12:30 I could not get from one side of this place to the other without getting elbowed, toes stepped on etc. My one toe is fucked now cuz some slut stepped on it with her hooker boots. fuck lol. But when you put all that aside it really was a great night.
Soooo now to poker lol. Ive really been slacking this month when it comes to getting in the volume but thats mostly because of school. So many tests... so little time it seems like lately lol. Cant really complain that much though becasue Im having pretty good results so far (knock on wood)
Life is good! Tonight I probably wont end up doing much. Partied pretty hard this week and wouldnt mind a breater lol. Most likely I will go on lockdwon and put in a huge session tonight!

Busted 8th, had to Shove KQ on button, BB woke up with AK.. GG. Played really well and was never all in for my life until the final table. Oh well what can yea do. Had a shitty day at cash today too but this made up for it a bit.
I dont know what it was today but ppl were shit talking me all day lol Whether it was my name they were chirping or my avatar it was just all day chirps chirps and more chirps. It was really funny though and I loved it. I was literally tilting guys and not doing anything. One person would start then they would all join in. Literally I didnt say anything to make people shit talk me either so I was really confused. Whatever though I let me stack do the talking.
Things have been going pretty good at the tables lately though. The last two days Ive had pretty meh results though but I feel like Im playing really well and making the right plays a lot so thats all that really matters.
Im on pace to start taking shots at 100NL at the end of the month and Im really excited for this. I was taking shots at it about 2 months ago and felt really good up at that level and had decent results but Ive had to make a few really big withdrawls over the last couple months for school/getting shit face/weed etc. so its taking a bit longer then it should but oh well. Making it to 100NL has been a goal of mine for a real long time and Im really glad Im getting closer to reaching it.

My room mate and I are both playing poker as our job while going to school. I know a lot of you other LPers live with poker players or have at one point. Right now my room mate is ona pretty sick downswing and I think its starting to get to him a little bit.
Im just curious as to what some of you guys have done to help out youre downswinging friend? It might be best to just let him be which is what Ive been doing but man hes been going on some pretty sick tilt lately and I wanna help the guy out lol.
Here in Canada its Thanksgiving this weekend which means lots and lots of food and a long weekend!! Damn I love turkey and pumpkin pie. mmmm lol. I had a million tests this week at school so needless to say I am very glad this weekend is a long one lol. When I got home I checked my mail and saw that UPS came by with my shit I ordered off FTP but I must have just missed them. I decided to go pick up my Poker chips / Poker table cover before I drove home back to Cambridge. I gotta say they are both pretty nice. I cant to play a game with the new chips / table and take all my boys money muahaha lol.
I was driving home and my buddy Brent called me up and asked me if I wanted to hit up Octoberfest. Where I live they have a MASSIVE Octoberfest celebration every year. It is the second biggest one in the world next to the celebrations they hold in Munich Germany. Anyways basically its just a huge shit show and all you do is drink your face off lol. We hit it up every year and its a blast. Literawlly right when I got back home my buddy Brent was waiting at my house lol. I rushed in, got changed and off we went. We went over to my friend Cheryl's place to get a pre drink goin with her and her other friends. We headed out around 9:00 which might seem early but these events get so packed that if you dont get there before they reach capacity your fucked because the line up is retarted.
When we got there we had to wait a bit but thankfully the line wasnt big at all. It was a pretty shitty night out though and it was raining so waiting int he rain kinda sucked. This event was being hosted by a rock radio station called Dave FM so needless to say they played rock all night lol. They had these two cover bands play that were really good. The one band I think they were called No Guff or some shit but they were an ACDC cover band and they killed it! After that they had some KISS band play which was kind of a let down because persoanlly I dont like KISS at all. They should have had KISS play first and then had ACDC play after imo. The night was a lot of fun though and I just got compeletly shit faced lol. No big stories though unfortunately lol. Just a fun night out drinking with friends.
Poker wise things have been going pretty good for me despite putting in a really small volume so far this month. Ive just been really busy with school and stuff and its been hard for me to make time to grind it out. Ive played 7k hands this month and so far Im up $500 which is pretty nice lol. Ive been changing my game up a bit recently and the results are starting to show. Hopefully I can keep playing well.
But anyways, I got family and stuff here so I better go.

Sup LP? Its been a while since Ive been blogging here. Ive been super busy with school/poker/partying and what not but I think being able to blog helps my game and helps me get other htings off my chest so Im going to start it up again.
One problem Ive been having lately is getting on some sort of schedule. It seems like there just isnt enough hours in the day. I have some pretty long days at school so I think that If I can get on some sort of schedule and stick to it Ill become a lot more organized in every aspect.

So for the most part my schedule is the same during the week. I really need to stick to it because right now Im all over the place. I need to make time for both school work and poker. School work has to come first though or Ill probably end up regretting it. LAtely Poker has been coming first which is not the way it should be. I only have one responcibility in my life right now and that is to do well in school so there really is no excuse for me not to do so. It will take a lot of discipline on my part to stick to this type of schedule but in the long run by doing so it will prove to be very beneficial to my school work as well as my poker game.
Im going to try and do a blog post almost everyday. In it, Im going to review the DC video I watched as well as talk about the sessions I had for the day. Ill try to throw in atleast one hand that kind of threw me off and hopefully you guys will give me some feedback on how bad I played it lol.
But anyways, I already fucked my schedule up this morning but I do have a test today so I guess I should get back to studying.
With School just around the corner I need to make as much money as possible this month!~ Ive decided Im going to whore out every bonus I can this month. So I need your help LP on deciding which bonuses are the best to work on. Heres what Ive come up with so far:
