Hi all,
I've decided to try to get better at MTT/multi player sit n goes. Since there are quite a few good tourney players on this site, I thought I'd ask a simple question. What stats do you put on your HUD (if you use one)?

Championship week in my two money leagues  I'd like to thank d_zoo for playing 49er WR Michael "Diva" Crabtree against the Chargers instead of Jacoby Ford or Mike Thomas (jkjk). Seriously, I was sweating Cutler and the Patriots Defense even though my team performed well. Basically, I drafted like a mofo this year in both leagues (1st five picks: Ray Rice, Jammal Charles, Roddy White, Arian Foster, Matt Forte/Hakeem Nicks). I also gambled on Kyle Orton and Josh Freeman having big years, which turned out nicely. Now I just have to fade the Dry Paint Chargers for one week...
Poker-wise the last two months has been ok. Unfortunately, I don't feel like I've progressed very much ability-wise in the last year, which is troubling. The first graph is my last 50k hands at Party. Rigged imo. The 2nd is my last 50k hands on Full Tilt. 90% 50nl 6max with some 100nl mixed in.
The problem is every time I move up to 100nl I lose 5 buyins the first day, and then I move back down. I eventually make the money back at 50nl, and try again.
I'm not a big fan of watching vids. How do you spend your time away from the table?

Rakeback vs software

For those of you that play on multiple sites:
Do you think the extra 23%-28% in rakeback available on European sites trumps Full Tilt's games and software? For me, FTP has the best software and I think it's almost worth it giving up the extra % and playing in (slightly) tougher games and not having to worry about tables crashing (iPoker), HUD not working (Ongame), and not seeing hands at showdown (Boss). Because I'm now able to put in more and more volume, and hopefully moving up in stakes with gawdawful's help ^^, I'm thinking of perma moving my roll to Euro sites and taking advantage of the extra monies.
What do you think?

Hi,
Does anyone here play at Unibet? If so, how long does a cashout normally take once you've verified your identity/address. I'm waiting on my sixth day which is completely unacceptable imo for a EU cashout to moneybookers...
Foreign police rant

Going to the Czech Foreign Police is seriously one of the most frustrating things I have ever experienced. I cannot possibly imagine what it was like three years ago when there was only one office handling all the different residency and employment issues for ALL nationalities. At least in Prague they have opened another office that can handle 30% of the city, and gone are the days of waking up at three in the morning to get a ticket with a number on it, and hope that they call you within the first four or five hours once the office opens.
Poker-wise, moved back down to 50NL after a marginal effort at 100. I started teaching some intensive (IELTS, CAE/CPE) exam courses this month, so I wasn't able to play as many hands as I would have liked.
Any LPers on Ongame Network?

My hands are importing into Hold'em Manager but I cannot get the stupid HUD to display on my tables. Anyone have an idea as to why this is?

A belated Merry Christmas to everybody. Why is it so cold in Europe?
Switched databases from PT3 to HEM and sites from Pokerstars to Full Tilt/Party. Moved up to 100NL around hand 16000, and I'm trying not to be so stationy and spewy.
Time to go eat some leftover carp and potato salad. Good luck at the tables.

These are my first 25k hands on Pokerstars 50NL. Is there a huge difference in skill between 50NL and 100NL? I have 30 buyins for 100NL and am trying to decide if I should take a shot.
Background:
I am an American English teacher living in Prague [my wife is Czech]. One of my students introduced me to this site, and I have found the advice in the forums very useful. I don't have a Starcraft background - the closest thing I guess to that would be playing DotA in CAL when I was much younger.
I guess my short-term immediate goal is to improve my hand reading so that I can be a consistent winner at 100NL, and it seems as if there are many LPers with similar aspirations. I am positive my biggest problem is calling when I should be folding, so that's something I will focus on the next 25k hands.
