Meh Jacks, I stop playing after that to avoid stress since this two happened almost at the same time and I was playing for a long time already.

Well, I guess the thought that those players are gonna get buttfucked and loose all their money should confort me, amirite ?

Like Shit (+QQ)
  dejokah, Dec 12 2008

Today session was horrible I kept getting beat like a little girl every fricking time, TPTKs were being shot down by sets overpairs were loosing to all sort of crap, this is a rant post so if you don't wanna see +QQ stop reading now.

A few cool hands:

At least I didn't tilt and kept playing a good game wich is good since I don't have a high tolerance for crap and tilted way easier before, lost a few BIs but my dignity is intact for now, maybe I'll play more later gonna relax and watch MadMen, Dexter and SCC. (Great Shows btw)

Halfway trough NL10
  dejokah, Dec 11 2008

Yesterday I had a bad session and tilted my ass off (again) not much damage like 3-4 BIs nevertheless it sucks to loose the sweaty grind money and I need to work on my self-control ASAP.

Today I started by spewing money in low buy-in MTTs and got deep in 2 out of 6 didn't get a significant amount in any of them but it's cool I find MTTs a lot of fun and much less mind consuming then 8 tabling micro stakes, after I was done with that i went back to grind and had a good session, so I'm half the way to NL25 sitting on 350$ and I think it's only a matter of time till I get the 20BIs for NL25.

I like the way I'm playing now, I'm pulling a lot of moves on the NL10 regulars just based on stats and I think this will be an important part in NL25.

That's it for now any thoughts and suggestions are highly aprecciated.

A little something for you folks

Ultra Hot
  dejokah, Dec 09 2008

Just finished a very longish session and I pulled another David Blane out of my ass, insane ptBB rate.

This HUD thing is a bless, at least for now it's great being able to see who's nit/regular and who's donk/spewy, is just fucking awesome and I,m never playing online without this ever.

So I'm 14BIs+ in 2 days of NL10 running way higher then my expectation, it's hard realizing that I'm not gonna run like this forever but I'm trying to do so I don't get overexcited.

New Layout
  dejokah, Dec 09 2008

Took me a while to set this up and it got very confusing but I'm getting used to it, this is the only way i can see all my holecards + ptHUD 8 tabling in this shitty 15' monitor.

Stupidity
  dejokah, Dec 08 2008

I tilted pretty bad last session and managed to loose all the BIs i made on my first session and a few more, I'm still rolled for NL10 but I feel very frustrated.

I also fucked up my PT DB by going allin on 4 tables at the same time and closing Pokerstars Lobby. (twice in the same day)
I never thought i could be that stupid, sure I could ask for stars for my hand history and import manually in PT but i decided to do something else, start a new DB.

I'm going to employ a safer style from now on to work on my discipline and also start using PT HUD in order to prepare myself for higher stakes, I'm sure this safer style may hurt my current ptBB rate but I also think that doing this now will save me more time later, the reason for that is that I played a very aggressive style and would try to stack people often with hands like 2p, OESFD, nut flush draw with 2 high cards, TPTK and it all worked out fine, but playing safe may be a better option to avoid mad tilt again.

NL10 Shot. (+boobs)
  dejokah, Dec 07 2008

So yesterday I played my first NL10 session and it was one of the craziest sessions of poker I've ever played.

I was getting awesome cards, running insanely hot, still I was loosing huge pots and splitting even bigger ones, stacked people PF with aces 2 times both times villain had aces also stacked another guy with the nut straight on the flop, guess what he had ? =x

I kept playing and getting good cards but then I run my Kings into Aces in a low board and my AQ into KK on KQQ board, i can tell you i never got to play so many hands with such great cards but i was soon down 3 BI and feeling like shit.

I almost stopped and went back to NL2, but the cards kept coming and I couldn't stop myself and I'm fucking happy i didn't, pretty soon i started to crush the tables it was fucking insane, my overbets with the nuts were getting RR by people with midpairs, sets on the flop turning into FH and completing other people's draws I felt like I pulled a David Blaine out of my ass, magic.

There is not much difference between NL2 and NL10, the major one is that it's no longer 250BB deep so this makes the short time variance a little higher, the players are a little more tight but i think i still have a big edge over them especially if i keep running this hot, it's not like I'm counting on it but I would like that very much, also shortstacks are just dead money on the tables, they are even worse then on NL2.

In my last post some people didn't like the boobs I posted (wtf is wrong with u ppl ?) so here's some generic camwhores.

Enjoy

Boobs!
  dejokah, Dec 05 2008

(If you are only here for the boobs just scroll down)

I'm currently 14BI+ considering i started playing last friday that's 2BI per day wich i think is pretty good, I'm gonna try and play a good number of hands and probably will be playing NL10 anytime this weekend.

I tilted a little bit during a session something that had not happend yet (meh) this cost me 4 BI, the hand that made me stop playing was when i raised pocket 10s MP and some guy RR me, i called and reraised him AI on the flop with the board AKJ rainbow, i mean after you do something that stupid you just gotta stop playing. (He had KK btw)

Delivering

drool
This is a photoshopped cosplay of a real girl. (Yeah i'm a geek)

PS:For some reason the post is bugged I'll try to repost later.
PS2: Fixed, my mistake

Day 3-5 Review and December Goals
  dejokah, Dec 03 2008

I've been playing a decent amount of hands this days and this is how I'm doing so far:

(Any thoughts on the red line ?)

I'll try to play a lot more this week and try to get passed NL2 and move to NL10 FR, my other goal is to be at least halfway through NL10 by the end of December and i think that's not an unrealistic scenario unless i hit some sort of downswing.

Also I'm not posting hands anymore, to be honest i don't see the point in posting NL2 hands everything is standard and most of the play happens PF and Flop, I'm just following some basic guidelines I've set for myself.

Never fold (AA KK AK) PF only consider fold (AK KK) if 150BB+ deep.

Play overpairs and TPTK very strongly people pay off a lot with shitty kickers.

Always cbet IP and only OOP in good spots, also only fire a second bullet with some sort of draw people, in this limits will not fold their top flop pair if you raised them PF this becomes very exploitable with overpairs and most important NEVER fire a third bullet it's just spewing.

There are of course exceptions to this rules but they are few and far between in this limit.

Day 2 Review
  dejokah, Nov 30 2008

Yesterday NL2 session started great but ended quite bad after being up 3,5BI I managed to loose not only the 3,5 but 1 more and decided to stop playing 1BI down.

I don't think i played bad but there is something mind fucking me really bad.

Over 3.5k hands i got dealt 24 (AA) I know it's a small sample but either variance is kicking my butt or I'm making horrible mistakes i won 80% of the hands but I'm down 1$ with aces, i play them very aggressive PF and on FLOP, that's when i win most pots, i rarely get to stack somebody PF even tho I'm always RR people, it seems that every time i get it in on the FLOP/TURN I'm behind.

A few hands i played AA:

I win most pots like this
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/579228
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/579229

Examples of me getting it in the flop or turn
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/579230
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/578141
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/578142

What i want to ask you is if i should consider playing lighter at this limits when villain shows strength and also bet smaller on dry flops to get more value from weaker hands, this concerns all big PPs (QQ+)

I'm also having the same problem with TPTK, winning small pots by playing aggressive and loosing big pots so i think the question also applies here.
