Well...its been a pretty rough week as far as SnG's go. I'm running pretty bad, and may have forseeably been leaking a little. I've done some analyzing mah game and decided I needed to tighten somethings up. One thing im doing is playing some 180 and 90 mans in there need to start tightening up...im playing way too loose...I say this as someone hits their gutshot on me for a big stack...hooray for baddies getting it in on the turn with gutshots...I don't feel like im playing bad though...Seems im losing ALOT of 60/40s I'm ahead in in really important spots. All in all i know there is money to be had, and i just need to stick with it....that being said I need to play at good times so i can hit some good tourneys up...I play well in them...they are full of fish...and i can bot them like SnGs Here is my graph for 45 mans:
as you can see been a rough last 80 sngs or so...but hey thats poker...and thats not a very big sample...so...we'll see waht happens...
that was bad...need a break right now...stopped registering to recover from all the run terrible....so many bubbles...lost 5 straight all ins with KK pre including 2 FT....just been rugged...meh...bbl
I've got this terrible problem where I can't sleep through the night...and it's pissing me off. I've done just about everything I can to make myself need to sleep at the right times, but I wake up after 3-4 hours of sleep every night and can't go back to sleep. It makes me want to kill something in a bad way.
Anyways thats me venting on that matter...Kinda. Good thing is i crush SnGs even more late at night, so I may be getting a quick session in, I dunno.
I'm at the point that I'm not sure the 1 dollars are worth playing when I see ZERO difference in the two levels. I'm going to start making it at least an even ratio and probably move closer to just the $3 ones.
End of the night I'm up 48 bucks and am very happy about it. Can't ever complain about approximately 15 bucks an hour, and soon to be more hopefully.
This also gives me a good start on my building tomorrow, as I hope to build up to at least 100 in profit for the week so I can run a few tournaments Sunday as per my plan.
Speaking of which, anyone have a good list of 5-10 dollar tournaments with solid guarantees and not 8000 people in them? PS FT or Absolute, doesn't really matter. Looking for a decent format, good payout, and starting between 1-4pm Central time. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

So I'm back after a long hiatus. Playing some poker, and really trying to focus on my game to hopefully grind out enough to justify not working minimum wage jobs.
A nice recent cash of 700 for 5th in the 10k $1re Rush has helped alot. That coupled with a deep run in the Daily Dollar deepstack cashing 80 bucks for 10th reminded me that poker is just full of money to be had.
So I've done some reading, talked to some guys about how good ways to approach building a br and now have a plan.
45 man Turbo SnG's are rediculously soft and easy to play. So the goal is to play lots of them. Currently only playing 1 dollars and splashing 3's because I needed to take most of the winnings from those tourneys off. I'm left with a BR of about 200 bucks. Plan is to have 50 BI's of the lvl. I could be playing 3's at this point but I want to stick at the one dollar lvl until I'm sure I have the game figured out.
Currently I'm crushing, not going to lie.
155 games played 32.09% roi overall.
Since I've done some reading and really focused up (obv a small sample but) 29 games played 81 percent ROI.
How I'm approaching this plan is to basically grind out this SnG's any time I can during the week. Come Sunday I'll look back at the week, and use 20 percent of my winnings that week as buy-ins for Sunday. This will allow me to play in some bigger stuff, so that when I run/play good, I don't get 80 bucks for beating 8000 people. I feel this is a solid plan, as it allows me to take alot of shots at MTTs that could GREATLY increase my BR without actually making a big BR risk. I can't play more than 4 MTT's unless they are SnG's that I'm botting anyways, so I might as well make my 4 on Sunday count.
Also glad to be back on LP. Missed reading everyone's stuff and posting about life and poker and such.
So...after quitting/getting tired of grinding NL2and NL5 and tilting away my small bankroll....I'm trying to rebuild it with dollar 45 man sit-n-gos....theres just a big pond of fish in them.....i just run bad...in the last 22...i've final tabled in 11....and 5 places cash....and I haven't cashed in any...im life tilting hard....AK is no longer better than AJ apparently....unless someone else has AK and i have JJ or QQ...then they are favored...just venting...yeah...
