PS is owning me
  Forrest Gump, Mar 15 2008

So, after 2 weeks of recovey (psychic crisis with MDMA => no more drugs) and not playing poker at all I came back to poker
But something fishy is going on here and I dont know what the hell it is

I played 2 days at PS at 25/16/2, but today PP was like 29/20/2.6 (NL200 SH)
It is the game flow that makes me play so weak tight at PS? or the soft maybe?

Or maybe too much time of not playing ruined my game and now Im getting it again. As standard, break even streetch continues (3months now). But I hope it ends soon

Downswings are good for game
  Forrest Gump, Feb 27 2008

So, after more than 2 months of break even stretch, I reviewed and analized my game so much and learned 2 big things about poker that made me feel so good

1. I learned to change gears and play a lot of different styles, from 12/10 to 29/20. Started to 3b light more than before and try to play mind games with the players (regulars) instead of playing cards against fishes. I mean, after seeing a lot of CR hi stakes videos with pros beating tough tables, I realized that I should be able to do that too if I train myself enough. Poker is a big mind game

2. Learned how to make table selection when the players are not retarded (How to choose good seats in a table full or regulars) or games are not good enough for time/day reasons.

So after all Im back to grinding. Im gonna try to make 10K at NL200 to build my confidence and be sure that I learned the right things. Then Im gonna be back to NL400

played drunk HU against a fish
  Forrest Gump, Feb 16 2008

Today I played futbol with the Uni buddies, and then we drank some beers at home. At 2am the night its almost over for me, becouse I have an exam this tuesday. So everyone except me goes to a bar.
Then I find a guy who I know exactly how to play him (fish) seated with ~230 stack in a NL400 empty table. So I decided to play him anyways no matter how tired I was. That was my opportunity. So we played near 15min I guess and I busted him playing HU.

After some review I had a winning of 191, so that makes near 39 of rake !!!

OMG. How can I play this game when rake is rapping me so hard.

I know that all the money its at cash games, but that's insane.

Here's another video for my blog

The break even stretch
  Forrest Gump, Feb 16 2008

Since mid December I was experiencing bad days at poker. In part becouse the games at party became more tough and dont know why. So I had to start playing again against the NL200 regulars and decide to start making money from them and not the superfishes. It was pretty hard and stressfull at the beggining, becouse I was rollercoasting with my money and the game flow its a little different. But this times were good to review my game. To learn a lot about my leaks and other's. I experienced some NL400 as well wich is good (2 coolers helped my downswing)

Now Im playing mainly at stars NL200 and I think I improved my game enough to stop losing, trying to mix it up my sessions with one day table select and some others just play against a table with not very strong TAGs

I hope today is the end of my large break even stretch (and fucking bad beats/coolers)

Here's a video to bring more colors to my blog

New record
  Forrest Gump, Jan 04 2008

New downswing cash record: -$2392
in a mix of NL200 and NL400. Mainly NL200. Still not buy in record
Now dropped from ~8 to 6.48 BB/100
fuck poker gods, and this was a big session (2K hands)
Man, this is so dissapointing

...

This passed my tilt limit. I've never been in a sick life tilt in a long long time
Shit. Fucking coolers, bad beats and bad timings. I want to kill someone

2007 poker review + graphs
  Forrest Gump, Dec 31 2007

Since I played in lot of sites, I had to do the graph in excel where I keep registry of my daily winnings
I played lot of donkaments, NL100 and PLO25, PLO50 untill the end of july when I figured how to beat the NL100 games for a good winrate (+9BB/100). August and September was BR building at NL100 and then started to play NL200 untill today with a good winrate (+8BB/100). Now I play some NL400 if the tables are good

Here's the graph

More stats:
My average winnings by session: $68
My average winnings by month: $1480

This was one of my best years, and not only becouse of poker and hope the next one to be even better. Happy new year for all lp-ers

Live poker makes you tilt
  Forrest Gump, Dec 15 2007

The tuesdays are running live games in a bar with 100+R tournaments and cash NL200 or NL400, all in pesos ($1 = 3.14pesos) with lot of degenerate players that you cant read becouse are sick gamblers. I think that made me tilt, becouse the game flow and metagame is so different that my edge is not big enough to that games. Plus there was a lot of ppl smoking and the only think to drink was Coke, wich I dislike. That day I droped like 420pesos in flips and bad beats. Nothing really, but I find myself in lifetilt for the fishy comments and ppl telling me that I was playing much worst than the last time (I was supertight). I think I played bad, becouse I wasnt done with the game flow, but that's a matter of practice

Then came back to home and tilted $275 in 6 tables of NL200 6max. The following day, $1300 the same way droping from 11.5 to 9.23 BB/100 for NL200. I noticed that my perception of the games were affected, probabbly for the live games, but I dunno.

So, I decided to take a break of 2 days while tripping in acid

Then, I came back and did only +2 bi. Go back to the grinding
