Whatever I do at 50 nl fails. Bluff? They are all fucking stations, call call gg buyins. Don't bluff? Oh, that's the guy who doesn't bet without a hand, fold to him. GG buyins.
I think a big hole of mine is raising with a wide range in LP. I have a whopping 23% PFR on the button according to position stats, and play about 21/16 - 20/15 overall. 23% PFR on the button is not that big, but since everyone calls with any fucking 2 in the blinds im throwing money away. Position is irrelevant if someone is a calling station.
Another big hole is being too predictable on the turn and river. I rarely 2nd barrel bluff because I can't tell who will fold and who won't. I'm pretty good at putting people on hands and can tell when they are weak, but that's pretty useless if I have air and they won't fold.
I don't know what to do. Post advice in comments please, 30/10 players are destroying me.
edit: I think I just fuck up a lot of big pots. Gonna reduce # of tables I play and see what happens.
This thread is a few days old but everytime I read it I burst into laugher. The sheer audacity of the thread hijack is astounding, not just for not apologizing for hijacking the thread, but in completely ignoring that the thread is not his own.
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO AT THIS GAME TO WIN. FUCKING FLOPPING SETS VS MY BIG HANDS JESUS WHEN DO I GET THAT? FUCKING NEVER. GOD FUCKING DFAMNIT THIS GAME IS FUCKING HARD WOWOWOW NICE ONE U MAED UR FUCKING SET AGAIN AND I HAVE TPTK GOOD JOB BET U COULDTN FOLD IF PLACES WERE REVERSED FUCK U JESUS ONE TIME CAN I RUN FUCKING HOT
Got an e-mail saying I have a free $10 in my empty UB acct. Going to take it to roshambo/blackjack, trip report coming soon.
update: nobody wanted to play $1 best of 3 roshambo with me so I played a guy at $0.10 and tried to trash talk him into playing some higher stakes. I 2-0'd him (obv) and kept talking but he was a nit.
After that I moved over to single player blackjack. Using the martingale system (bet X, if you lose, bet 2x next time, if you lose again bet 4x, etc) I've gotten my $10 up to $25. More updates coming. Btw not quitting until I get $100.
edit: FUCK went on tilt after I got it up to $35 and back down to $25, so I shoved it all in on one hand. Made it to 16 or something, decided dealers 3 showing was good enough to hope he busts (I don't know any strategy). He got it up to 15 then hit an ace and a 3 to get to 19.
Fuck them and their slimey, greedy asses. I wanted a fucking delicious pizza (and they make them soo good), but to order just one medium pizza comes to $20 after a 10% tip. Are you fuckign kidding me? $20 for one medium? It has one topping too, pepperoni. I was on serious life tilt deciding if I should get the pizza or not but caved and just ordered.
Why are the prices so high? Because bitches like me cave in and buy them.
Down 4 buyins over about 1k hands... I've never run into so many coolers and bad beats before. This is the first time I've actually suffered this much loss in a session, as I usually quit out of frustration after dropping a buyin.
That said, to make money at poker I have to play through losing money while still playing well. I'm so fucking proud of myself for doing that this time, despite the fact that I kept losing money: I didn't stop playing well and I pushed through it, which I have never been able to do before.
That said I'll show you all the hands that I lost any sort of decent money on this session (nothing exempted, inc whatever bad plays I made):

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183052 --> I think this is fine, started a thread in the low stakes forum to be sure. I think I have to bet the river (or miss value) and I'm pot committed and ahead of bluffs/weaker aces when he comes over the top. He had it this time but I think this is fine, tho if you disagree post in the thread on it. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183053 --> Some 3/5 stack minraises my 3bet, I decide to play for stacks with AK. He has 1010 and I lose the flip. Standard. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183055 --> I 3bet with AK, cbet the low flop. He shoves and is deep enough that I have to fold. Standard. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183056 --> QQ vs 63, he flops a boat with 2 clubs on the board and it goes all in on the flop. This guy is crazy and playing 40/25 or so btw. Standard. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183058 --> I 3bet QQ, JJx flop and I cbet out. Get raised then the another person cold c/shoves, someone must have the jack. Fold. Standard. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183061 --> Not sure about this hand. I 3bet QQ preflop, cbet a KJx board and get called. Turn a OESD but I doubt I'm getting a fold from any king, so I chk. Miss river too and c/f. Not really sure what would call the flop and fold the turn, so this doesn't seem too bad. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183064 --> There is history on this hand. The main (deep) villain is a maniac (40/25) and bets at anything postflop for big $. I let him do my betting for me but he flopped 2 pair and turned a boat, so my TPQK + big FD gets stacked. Standard. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183066 --> Same guy as before, I 3bet him and then cbet the flop. He puts in a raise making me play for stacks (and I have no FE) and I fold with just overcards. Standard. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183067 --> Playing 33/25 or so on this table. Probably should have raised the flop, but I don't and end up paying off a turned straight. I thought a lot about folding the river but decided I had been playing so loose and my hand looked like a missed draw + he may have a missed draw that I'll call. Probably should have raised flop, so this is misplayed. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183071 --> I make trips with J kicker in unraised bvb pot, he flops AAA set and makes boat on river. I lose but don't get stacked. Note this is the same guy who stacked me with two other boats. He had $350 on the $50NL table at the end and was playing very loose/maniac. Not very good but on a sick heater. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183073 --> 4bet AA vs KK hand, I have AA but he flops a K. Standard. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183075 --> 3bet AA vs Kk hand, again I have AA and it goes all in on the flop. He turns a K. Standard.
There are about 4-5 other hands vs shortstacks where I lose about 20% of a buyin, but all are pretty standard.
