Flip Ultra HD VS Kodak Zi8 Compare flip Ultra HD by panamadany, October 18

From the comparison of specifications and the features of Flip Ulra HD and Kodak Zi8, we can summarize the following:

1.Kodak Zi8 beats Flip Ultra HD on higher and more flexible resolution, 4x optical zoom, a larger LCD screen, bigger expandable memory, more output formats, the ability to shoot still photos.

2.Flip Ultra HD has a better brightness feature and it is easier to use.

3.The best feature of Flip Ultra HD and its series is you can upload flip videos to YouTube, which Kodak Zi8 doesn’t allow you to do. This may be the major reason why Flip Ultra HD ranks No. 1 one Amazon, if you did a search with “camcorder” on Amazon, and Kodak HD ranks No. 19.

Click here to see Amazon ranking of camcorders.

4.Both have the feature of auto focus. However the Zi8 has a Macro focus for close-ups

5.Flip Ultra HD stands up on its own, Kodak will need a tripod, although both have tripod connectors.

6.For HDMI out, you must purchase an extra cable with Flip Ultra HD but Kodak has it included.

Therefore, you can now choose the right camcorder for yourself based on the above conclusions:

If you are looking for a product that has better technical features, Kodak Zi8 will be the right camcorder for you.

If you prefer a video camcorder that can stand by itself, Flip Ultra HD will be a better choice.

If you want take lots of close-up videos, Kodak Zi8 is the one for you.

If you want to easily share your videos on YouTube, Flip Ultra HD is definitely the choice

So far. by Carreira, October 17

Poker has been kind of entertaining since i got my bankroll back (or at least half of it cause that fags from ipoker still owe me money).

During september i played NL10 6max at FTP. (whined about it a few blogposts before).

http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/9068/fulttilt.jpg

After that i was able to return to my dear ipoker and play the limit i was overrolled at (NL20 euros-pounds).

http://img813.imageshack.us/img813/3575/ipoker.jpg

So, you crush NL20 and start getting shots and NL50 to make your life happier. Some retarded ipoker site fucks you up and makes you stop playing online poker for around 45 days.. you are finally able to get part of your money back and all of the sudden this starts to happen.

So after analizing all the situation i realized that somehow i had forgotten all the aggression i used to have postflop. Checking my hands with bongky and finding out that for example i would not bet AKo after 3betting and recieving a call with a low board made me feel like crap.. and that explained why my red line was a piece of shit.

Bongky offered me some coaching for a nice price and i took it.. everything started really cool but i kept losing money (my ev was all over the sky ofc) so i reached the point that i could not afford the coaching anymore.. i learned a lot during this period and i was able to catch up a couple of leaks i had.. so that wasnt that bad.

Anyways.. after losing to the point of being underrolled for NL20 i decided that i would not give up and that i would start my recovery at NL10.. so far, not good at all.

This is the graph of yesterdays sess.

http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/3048/redline17.jpg

And this one is of todays:

http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/9482/redline18.jpg

As you can see, my red line is still a piece of shit.. i fire A LOT of flops but now im thinking that i fire maybe too many of em and end up folding to minraises/turn bets from retarded villains. (Yes i check my HUD stats a lot and i also check the dynamics of the table).

TL:DR, i used to be good at cash games but now i suck so bad and i cant understand why and how to fix it, making me lose more than 1/2 my roll.

At this point im considering taking the rest of my roll and making a deposit at PS to play STTs, fml.

Pics from Amsterdam by iop, October 17

Was in Amsterdam for 2 days watching the Holland - Sweden game. The game itself is a bit blurry, I got fairly drunk. Needless to say the whole day was awesome. My thoughts on Amsterdam itself aren't high (no pun intended). I thought the city was fairly shitty, too many coffee shops, the people in the coffee shops looked like stoners (oh really???) or homeless people. Did not see the Red Light. Went to a nice part of the city the last day and had a few drinks.

Done with rush by sodarayg, October 17

http://i53.tinypic.com/9u7syq.jpg

The losing part is from rush poker and tilt, bad play, and running bad.
The winning is 5 tabling 25nl.

I think i'm going to stick to regular 6max tables, fu rush lol

Day 38 by player999, October 17

Weekends huh?

http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/9352/day38.png

Feeling like a monster.

Never ran as good as these 30 first games here, but then I dunno wtf happened. At the low point there I told my buddy "I'm only gonna sleep when I'm up 1k+". Craaazy swings.

This one reg "TrueBelive" scammed me when we decided to chop one sng and he won and didnt send the money, so today I sat at his table to win it back. He didnt rematch so I chased him and won 6 out of 6 matches vs the scumbag. Last one was so awesome, karma is a bitch heh?

+ Show Spoiler +

So far 63.5k VPPs:

weekend play by wolfheart, October 16

So i yesterday i played like 12 hours straight after work. In end i was falling on table almost to sleep. Dunno how many hands i played. 9 tabed all the time..did some some breaks.

I spew AND do some stupid plays 2 much to move on. I am slaping myself then i spewed some 7 or 12$ away. I think i won 30 bis total and lost same amount in tonight and yesterday play. I really need keep myself out of troubles and fold to 3 bets.

Yesterday got silverstar now 700 fps left to play to goldstar. I hope that if i keep myself out of trouble i should get my roll up. Atm i have been swinging 700 to 500 back and forth back and forth. Also i have been getting tons of bad beas. Tho i put one bi bad beat ALso KK vs AA situation.

Plan is to get bankroll to 1250 then try my skill on 50nl. Tho i tried 1 short session on 50nl 1k hands and left as small winner. I know this coulda ended bad but did not.

Helping my friends 2 by Thall, October 16

Hey guys,
since it seems to be ok anyways , here it is again:
two friends of mine just recently moved together in a shared flat and now there is a contest where they can win an awesome prize:
-living rent free for a year
+ getting stuff from the local supermarket chain worth around 6000 $
+ a huge party in their flat getting sponsored with around 3000$

all you have to do is to "like it" on facebook and u can even win some stuff too if they should make it to the round of 5 (they are 7th atm) though i dont know about the prizes if you dont live in switzerland

anyways, it would be huge favor for me and them !

Jinxed myself by sodarayg, October 16

AFter that 1k post, i played 1 table of 50nl and promptly lost 2 bi's with kk v aa and 8 10 vs k10 on a 10 10 x flop. It actually would have been 3 bi's but my other kk v aa was saved by the board making a straight.

so i went down to 25nl and got a kk v aa, qq v kk, aj v a4 when the 4 hit on the river, overpairs vs sets, me not ever getting a set, and just getting horrible boards with every single big hand.

Down to 780 now. god damn.

the good news is that i didn't really make any horrible plays, maybe losing so much did make me barrel and cbet less than usual so i need to fix that, but otherwise i didn't shove or do any tilt monkey things that i usually do.

sighhhh, damn poker

HU SnG's by attik34, October 16

So I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these/thoughts. I was thinking they should be profitable and something I could use to add volume. I was messing with the Ultra turbo ones, just using a chart and doing ok with them. Any other advice/experience with these?
