Hey guys long time since I wrote a blog. I would've posted sooner but a combination of disinterest and lack of internet have made it tough. The reason I say disinterest is because I noticed in one of the comments in an older blog I did someone posted something along the lines of "Why do you get a featured blog and not me? I have boring life stories to tell aswell", I don't remember exactly what it was but it was something like that. Comments like that really demotivate me from posting at all, I only post cause I feel some people are interested and it's a good way of getting shit off my mind, but if people don't wanna read then there's no point in me writing anything. I don't say this cause I want people to start kissing my ass, just explaining why I haven't posted sooner. Anyway I didn't even choose to make my blog a featured blog, nor do I remember any mod asking me if I wanted it to be (They may have, but I don't remember it)
Anyway, quite a few things have changed in my life since the last blog post. I've been back in England since September and went halves on a brand new house with my parents, which we all moved into mid November. It's a 3 story 5 bedroom house, the 3rd story has 2 really big bedrooms, one which I'm using as a bedroom and the other is basically a games room with a sofa, TV, PS3, computer and chair in that I mainly just use for quiet poker time, but also a decent place to have some friends over and chill a bit. It's a tad boring living at home at times but it's comfortable at the same time and I definitely miss home when I'm away for a long time.
As I was saying about lack of internet in the first paragraph, we were supposed to get connected on December 7th. Well, December 7th comes and without notice or warning the technicians fail to show up, it turns out they sent us an email saying they couldn't come, but how in god's name are we supposed to read an email saying that they can't install our internet at the moment, when we don't have internet!? Naturally, we called to complain the following day anyway, and they said that the installation would be delayed until late December or early January at the soonest. Several phone calls over the next few days, horrible service from Sky and we told them to fuck off and ordered internet with Virgin Media. Unfortunately, the main reason we couldn't get internet was because the BT technicians in the area were very far behind schedule, and both Sky and Virgin Media had to use the same technicians to install our internet anyway, so we didn't get a better quote on when to expect the installation from them either, I think they told us January 9th or something. Because of this, I was unable to get online at all during the second half of November and most of December. I ended up getting a USB mobile broadband dongle, however it was unreal slow and choppy, and frequently dropped during the day hours, like multiple times per hour. So in order to get any poker hands in I had to wait until midnight or 1am when it was a bit more stable to start my session, and since I was/am trying to get on SNE pace I usually didn't end up going to bed until some time between 7 and 10am. Anyway, we didn't get ADSL installed until about 3 weeks ago and when we did get it, it didn't even work properly. Random disconnects were occuring very frequently, the router light would just turn itself off and then reconnect itself anytime between 10 seconds and a minute later. This probably happened 10 times a day if I spent a good amount of time in front of the computer. It has settled down for the most part now and for the past week and a half or so I've had about 2 disconnects, which is definitely still more than I'd want, particularly when pokering, but it's a lot better than nothing or the USB dongle I was using before. Highly tilting though to go 2 months without proper internet, and then when you finally get it, it's still tosh.
Without the internet I usually ended up playing FF13 or GT5 on the PS3, watching DVDs and Top Gear and getting super interested in cars in general. It motivated me to start learning, I know, I know, I'm 26 and don't drive and that's sad but better late than never I guess. I booked my theory test beginning of February and I'll be taking it on the 25th, if I pass I'll book my practical and start a 1 week, 30 hour intensive course the previous week before my test date and hopefully pass first time and be on the road before long. Being a lazy nobsack I've put about 1 hour studying in so far, if that, and achieved like 31/50 on a mock test with nothing more than common sense, like my knowledge on the subject is virtually nonexistant. Some of the questions are hilariously dumb and I'll be very insulted if I don't pass (Need 43/50) when I do the real thing. Here's an example of a stupid question:
Unfortunately they're not all quite this easy, lots of them hinge on actually knowing what various roadsigns are or various rules and regulations which you need to have learnt and can't rely on logic, but still, I'm gonna be pretty embarrassed if I don't pass considering about half of the questions are on a similar level of stupid as the question above.
Having an interest in cars motivates me to attain SNE, as it would provide enough FPPs to purchase a Porsche Cayman S by year's end, which is obviously a pretty sick car and is probably far better than anything else I'd likely be getting as my first car. I was even thinking of using the FPPs to pay for a part of a 911, and paying the rest with cash if the year goes well and I make good money on top of SNE, but naturally I'm a lazy bastard and as much as I'd like to end up with a Porsche as my first car, it's a real struggle to put that much time in for me particularly when running poorly as I am at the moment, in fact, last year I made a total of 45k VPPs for the entire year. I even set a picture of a white Cayman S as my desktop backdrop to motivate me some, I'm not sure it works, but can't hurt I guess, unfortunately though, I'm already quite far behind having spent a couple of weeks in London in January and having terrible internet until a couple of weeks ago. I'm currently at 89k VPPs and SNE pace is 147.5k VPPs.
I've been missing Korea quite a lot lately so I'm going back for a 3 week stay in April and I'm pleased to say Ket will be joining me. I can't wait to enjoy the food there and the bars I used to frequent and hopefully catch up with some old friends who are still there, if there are any left. There's virtually nothing to do or anywhere to go in my home town, it's weird that I start to miss home when I'm in Seoul for any length of time given how much better it is than here, but then when I'm back here I begin to miss Seoul too. Can't win I guess. Not gonna say much about it but I also broke up with my girlfriend lately, we're still close though and I'll be seeing a lot of her in Seoul. That will also be an obstacle to my SNE pursuit, so during my 3 weeks in Korea I really don't see myself playing much poker, and even when I do play I'm definitely not going to play anymore than 6 tables on my laptop, I struggle enough with 9-12 tables on a 30" monitor, but on a laptop it would be impossible.
Another obstacle to my SNE chase is World of Warcraft. Yes indeed, I'm wasting time playing that damn game once again. I don't think I would have, but the expansion came out late December or whenever it was and I was dying to get my hands on it when I had no internet, so obviously when my internet started working again I logged on, got from 80 to 85 in 2 days and have already put in like 4-5 days in-game played time in like 2 weeks. I don't really think Cataclysm is that great though, but it's still very addictive, currently the queues for heroics are really long for anyone but tanks, infact it takes about 25-35 minutes for me to get a group on my Mage. It takes an absurd amount of time to gear up compared to WOTLK, you need to grind all the rep factions to exalted, spend ages levelling professions up and farming mats, or pay insane amounts of gold to get your hand on epic gear now. Some people may think this is a good thing since it makes it harder for scrubs, but I disagree, it isn't really any "harder" to get the items, it just requires a lot more time, I mean it's not difficult to kill a bunch of mobs for mats or run x heroics, it's just a matter of time. In all the time I've spent on it I only have 3 epic items, in the same time frame I would've had all epics, would've at least BEEN to every existing raid etc in WOTLK. It's really just the amount of time you need to put into it to get anywhere that I'm disliking about Cataclysm, I like the way the talent trees have been reworked, some of the new content and spells and whatnot, but yea, just way too time consuming and that's very bad for anyone who wants to play lots of poker.
Anyway since this is a poker site and my life isn't really all that interesting I mayaswell leave the blog with a few screenshots of my year so far:
Here is the reports page, there's also like 4k hands of 2c/5c NL on top but it wasn't exactly serious and had no effect on the money won since it's such small stakes, so I filtered that limit out:
I still feel like my NL game is fairly competetive which is a nice feeling considering I've barely played any for months. I think I put in 15-20k hands of 0.25/0.5 euro on ladbrokes at the end of last year running at 8.5BB/100 or so, but apart from that really haven't played any for a long time. I'd like to win about $500 more at $3/$6 just to get that limit green on my stars PTR. I'm not going to try and make that winrate = x like I tried for so long at 50c/1 but I'd just like it to be green. I know it doesn't matter all that much since in my HEM I can see I have a lifetime winrate of 3.5BB/100 at 3/6, but still, I'm kinda OCD and I'd like it all to be green. Hopefully it won't take long to make 1 more buyin.
And a graph:
Currently 27 buyins under EV, but I was 32 buyins under EV at some point earlier in the year so I guess it could be worse. I also feel like I've ran really poorly in terms of flopping hands, running into hands, and poor board runouts on top of running below EV. I'm certainly not amazing at PLO by any stretch of the imagination and I've done some very dumb things even over the past couple of days, but I do feel like I have a small edge at $2/$4 PLO and potential to have a very large edge in the future with more experience in the game. It certainly doesn't help my winrate playing 9 tables (12 the last 2 days), which is a lot for someone who has 4 tabled for years, nor does having a connection that has disconnected me a sum total of about 10 times over this sample size and folded me off of every hand at every table, sometimes with reasonable amount of $ in the pot. It's hard to say if my feeling is correct though, the swings that are possible in PLO is just ridiculous, I heard that krmont22 had a 200 buyin downswing, and he's a 4+BB/100 winner at 1/2 and 2/4 PLO over large sample sizes.
Think that's all for now, gonna finish eating this paella and get grinding some more WoW like a silly little nerd and prob put in a bit of Theory test studying before going to bed at like 3 or 4am I guess. Feel free to leave feedback, positive, negative, neutral, hate, love, whatever :>

Hey, decided to clean up my pc, found lots of my old wordpad documents. Way to much to just throw it all up here, but thought I'd toss up a little here and there since a lot of you guys seem to appreciate my blogs, gives me an awesome feeling aswell <3
Oh, I'm putting it in spoilers. Some people might not be interested or care about some of it, then they don't have to scroll past it or annoy themself, simply don't klick the spoiler =]
1 - Think for yourself. Very confident people know what they are doing is right, usually because they created an original thought rather than attempting to reproduce from an external source.
2 - Make a list of special talents you have, or things you do that are good.
3 - Find your passion.
4 - Chose a role model.
5 - Focus on others. Try not to focus negatively on how you come across or how others may perceive you. Instead, focus more on the outside world rather than just your internal world, and that will build your confidence as other people start enjoying your company.
6 - Accept compliments gratefully. Don't roll your eyes and say, "yeah, right," or shrug it off. Take it to heart and respond positively. (Thank you, and a smile works well).
7 - Know that you have important things to say and do. When you feel strongly about something, speak loudly and clearly and make eye contact with people, be yourself.
8 - Take care of yourself. Eat healthy (CHECK), Don't abuse you body ( I DONT, except for bad sleep patterns), and don't deny any of the things it need. At the same time don't obsess. Confidence comes from within, not from products. Take the time to reflect on your life and do some emotional maintenance. In order to be truly confident, you absolutely must value yourself and understand that your well-being is important.
9 - Work out. This is a real fast change. The gym can transofmr even the last geek. It will help you to be who you are, and not be afraid of it. That's the real confidence. Getting enough exercise can boost your confidence amazingly. Not only will it give you more energy throughout the day, but being in good physical shape will make you feel more "worthy" you could say, to talk to other and be yourself.
10 - Stick up for yourself. If people put you down (and not in a good-natured, joking way), then let them know that their opinion of you is not held by everyone-most of all, yourself. This may at first be hard to do. But once you stick up for yourself a few times, your confidence builds and you get more adept at it.
11 - Celebrate your individuality. f you know you'ev got something special or different, then embrace it, don't hide it. That's diversity. You may wish that you were taller, shorter, skinnier, stronger, whatever it may be, but realize that, if you were like everyone else, then you wouldn't be who you are, and what am I? The answer is easy. You're Unique individual who's capable of growing and learning.
12 - Take action. Tackling a task, something you may have been procrastinating, tidying up, writing a letter, fix something, clean something, etc. Or any classes you might want to take, things you want to learn, so forth.
13 - Improve posture. Don't slouch or slump your shoulders. Make sure your back is straight, your shoulders are square, and your chest is puffed out slightly, but stay loose. Keep your chin up and your eyes forward than looking at the ground.
14 - Make a conscious effort to smile often. A smile makes you appear warm, honest, friendly and confident. You can also relax your facial muscles entirely, which will make you appear calm and relaxed. Observe in the mirror, to make sure you don't have a tense or nervous facial expression, if you do others may think you're sad angry or uncomfortable.
15 - Make eye contact with others, especially when engaging in conversation. Gaze into the other person's eyes as you talk to make yourself seem interested, calm and confident. Avoiding eye contact makes you appear shy and submissive, while staring too long may make you appear angry or scared. So the best advice is gaze into a person's eyes as you converse with them while occasionally shifting your gaze or looking around.
16 - Control your hand motions. When it comes to gesturing with your hands, keeping your hands far apart and your palms open makes you appear open and honest.
Pointing with your fingers and bringing your hands closer together can draw emphasis to what you are saying. Don't overuse hand gestures or you'll look nervous and unstable. Avoid wringing your hands or touching your sleeves, as these things cane make you appear nervous, tense or even dishonest.
Shaking hands, firm grip with a man, and as gentle as the woman if a female!!
17 - Put a little struth into your walk. Move like you have a purpose, and keep your knees slightly bent to avoid appearing stiff or rigid.
18 - Act confident, even if you don't truly feel it. After a while it will come naturally. Also learn not to care what other people think of you. Don't let anyone bring you down. People are just jealous, and intending to put you down, don't let anyone slow your progress.
19 - Smile and talk loudly and clearly, making jokes and being generally happy. Don't moan or be over confident, people hate that so much
20 - Be kind to everyone, even if you don't like them. No matter who they are, just be nice. That way you will seem warm, friendly, caring and kind.
"Frown and you frown alone, but smile and the whole world smiles with you."
1 - Practice good hygiene. Brush teeth, get good breath, polishing at the dentist so forth.
You'll make a better impression, and you'll feel more confident.
2 - Get comfortable with smiling. A lot of people are a little nervous about smiling. People think it makes you vulnerable, it does a little, but that's part of what makes it so powerful, people almost ALWAYS respond better to a smile.
3 - Think happy thoughts. The easiest way to a great smile is to be happy. (Someone you care about, a joke you find hillarious. Remarkably, when you're feeling down, smiling can help cheer you up, even if you have to coa a smile at first.
4 - Smile with your eyes. Your cheekbones lift slightly and your eyebrows dip a little, you know it when you see it, your eyes lighting up, or twinkling. Play around in front of a mirror, cover up your face if you have to. Remember how it feels like when you get it right, and you'll be able to smile with your eyes at will.
5 - Develop your smile, find the picture where you smile the best and most contagious, focus on what your smile is doing, then practice in the mirror till you get it just right. Soon it will become second nature, and you'll look more photogenic in your next batch of pictures.
* Try showing only your upper teeth when you smile
* Being your smile with your eyes, once our eyes are smiling, they tend to pull your whole face into natural, beautiful smile
* Ever laughed hysterically? Now, laugh slightly and now you have a natural pretty smile
* A lot of men feel uncomfortable about smiling at strangers, especially at other males. If that's the case just offer a casual Hi, or Hi man, or sup. It works just as well, and feels less awkward for a lot of guys.
* If you have a tooth that pokes out a bit at the side, as many ppl do, try to get your lip to go above it so your lip doesn't catch on the tooth when you smile
Warnings!!! A fake smile can make you look phony, nervous or even dangerous
Don't have things stuck in your teeth
1 - Listen to the rhythm
You can pick up the beat by counting to four repeatedly (one, two, three, four, one two, three, four...) Do this out loud.
If the music doesn't fit, you may find yourself counting to three
2 - Bob your head to the rhythm.
If the beat is on the slower side, you can bob your head so that your chin is down at every count. If the beat is faster, your chin will be down on two of the counts and up on the other two.
Do this gently, this isn't headbanging.
The idea is to get part of your body physically moving with the rhythm. As your movements gets more complicated, you might "lose" the rhythm, and you should always return to this step if that happens.
3 - Shift your weight between your feet.
You can continue bobbing your head, but don't stop counting yet. Shift all of your weight to one foot (you can lift the other foot slightly of the ground to make sure all your weight is off of it.).
At every other count (preferable 1 and 3) shift your weight completly to the other foot. You can do it every other count, but you get more comfortable starting out slow before you dance fast.
Keep your lets "loose" and bed your knees slightly; there should be a little bit of "bounce" to your weight shift, and a subtle bounce (in place) on the counts when you aren't shifting your weight as well.
4 - Move your feet. Once you're shifting your weight to the rhythm, practice moving your feet.
Right before you shift your weight to a foot, move it slightly, even just an inch or two from where it was before. (start with very small movements)
Keep the music on, keep counting, keep moving a little bit with each time you shift your weight (at every other count).
When you move your foot, keep it close to the ground. You can kick your feet up in the air later, when you're letting loose.
5 - Move your hips. When you put your weight on a foot, move your hips (and your body) slightly in the direction of that foot.
( You move shift weight to the right foot, you move your hips to the right)
You can twist your body slightly to add a little more movement: When you move to the right, put your right shoulder forward a little and left shoulder back, and vice versa for when you move to the left.
(Note, that this range of movement, hip movement, twisitn, swiveling is usually exaggerated by women to emphasize the female form).
6 - Throw your hands in the air. This is the part that indicates to people that you're having fun. If you're uncomfortable, the tendency is to hold them close or let them hang limp.
Instead, move your arms around. Keep your hands open or in very loose fists, but never stiff (unless ur doing robot). Throw them up 8-12 counts, then in front of you for 8-12. Then at your side for 8-12 counts, like when ur running, keep switching it up. If you're dancing with someone, you can put your handso n their shoulders, waist or hips.
7 - Lose yourself in the music. Let your body move naturally to the rhythm. You want to look smooth rather than jerky and stiff.
Just go back to step one when you lose it
8 - Practice dancing whenever you have the chance. Kitchen, bedroom, anywhere, will make you feel more comfortable in your body. Watch yourself in a mirror to get an idea what looks good and what doesn't
TIPS: it helps to learn to dance to your favourite music, especially if you memorize and sing along to the lyrics. and you'll have more fun with music you enjoy
* When you go out, remember, ur there to have fun and so is everyone else, no1 is judging you on how you dance. If your esteem is low, ur body language will reflect this, so go out and have FUN
* Study, watch scenes from movies, tv shows, music shows, and pay attention to what is going on. Pay attention and pick up all the standard moves that go again and again
* Take a class
* watch other dancers
* smile and look like you're having fun, add faces and be lively
* its always easier to dance when it's dark, because you feel less self conscious
* bring a friend who is a terrible dancer but just doesn't care
Happiness seems to whittle down to your outlook on life, and the quality of your relationships with the people around you. To be happy you should know what to love and how much.
1 - Be optimistic. Largely boils down to how you think. Everyone has a baseline happiness, so if you win the lottery, when it's past, you'll go down to the level of happiness you usually had.
2 - Follow your gut. When you have a decision to make, and you're down to a few options, just pick the one that feels right and go with it.
3 - Make enough money to meet your basic needs:
Food, shelter and clothing. In the US that magic number is 40.000$ a year. Any money you make beyond that will have negligible effects on your happiness.
Once over that, your happiness is not significantly affected how much you make, but by your level of optimism.
(Comfort may increase with salary, but comfort doesn't make people happy, it makes people bored. That's why it's important to push beyond your comfort zone to fuel your growth as a person).
4 - Stay close to friends and family. Our relationships with our friends and family have a far greater impact on our happiness than our jobs do.
5 - Find happiness in the job you have now. If you have a positive outlook, you will make the best of any job, and if you have good relationships with people, you won't depend on your job to give your life a greater sense of meaning. You'll find it in your interactions with the people you care about.
This doesn't mean you shouldn't aspire towards a job that will make you happier; it makes you understand that the capacity of your job to make you happy is quite small in comparison to your outlook on life and your relationships with people.
6 - Smile. Whether you feel happy or not, your mood will be elevated. So smile all the time. In addition having enough money to pay the bills allows you to focus your energies on more productive aspects of your life, such as the pursuit of happiness as opposed to keeping the "wolves from the door".
7 - Stop worrying. If you spend all your time worrying, you'll miss out on the fun side of life. Take it easy once in a while, and just relax.
8 - Be grateful for what you have. Think about the less fortunate. Volunteer at a food bank or give some itesm to Goodwill. It'll boost your confidence quick.
9 - Have more mirrors. Look in them as much as possible, no matter how unattractive you think you are. And every time you look into it and see yourself, smile at yourself.
10 - Start something. A club, a program. Fan club, whatever, toss a small party. Something light and happy to get your mind off things, and to hang out with other people who can help you relax and feel better.
* When you can't seem to be positive or cheerful, do something silly, something crazy. Turn up the music, start jumping, dancing, screaming, whatever pops into mind. Change something, eat something different, something that can lift of your mood, and be glad you did it.

No matter how beautiful you are (I'm really beautiful) or how good a conversationalist you can be, if you look intimidating, preoccupied or scared, people might not be inclined to talk to you. Here's how to use your body language to look more friendly and approachable.
1 - Be aware of what your body is saying. You don't have to actually say anything to communicate a message to others. Unfortunately, your body may not always say what you want it to.
If youre gestures and posture are saying "I'm too busy", "leave me alone," it's not likely people will approach you. Other people watch your body for clues, so it's important to pay attention to what clues you're displaying.
2 - Open up. When people are uncomfortable in a situation they have a tendency to display closed body language. Examples include folding your arms in front of you, hunching over, positioning your body so that you're angled away from others. These signals imply that you'd rather be left alone.
If you're rather not be left alone, make sure you're displaying open body language by angling yourself toward other people, sitting or standing with an upright (but not stiff) posture, and uncrossing your arms.
3 - Use your eyes. Not only your window to the world, they're also other people's window into you. If you bury your head in a book, stare at the floor, or look up at the ceiling, you close that window. If you want to look friendly and approachable, scan your environment with your eyes, and don't be afraid to make eye contact with people.
4 - Smile. A warm, inviting smile can put anyone at ease, and it also makes you look like you're havign a great time, which makes people want to be around you and get in on the fun.
Be sure to smile often during small talk. It lets people know you appreciate talking to them. Smile with your eyes. When you get eye contact, don't stare or glare. Soften your eye expression and make your eyes smile or twinkle.
The eyes are actually more important than the mouth to what most people consider a "genuine" smile.
5 - Beware self-comfort gestures. Nervouesness manifests itself in body language in many ways. Important not to be nervous if you really want to socialize and meet people.
Touching your hand to your face, especially putting it over your mouth, or if you have a drink, holding your glass by the mouth can give the impression you're not interested in talking to them.
Metronomic gestures such as foot tapping, can signal impatience or boredom, so people may think you don't have time to talk or aren't interested in conversation.
Other nervous habits picking at your cutcles or biting your fingernails can also make you appear distant or lost in thought.
Once again, just pay attention to what your body is saying, and you can avoid putting up these barriers.
6 - Approach others. If people aren't approaching you, why not go to them? Nothing makes you look more outgoing and approachable than actively seeking out people and talking to them.
If you're in an environment where you don't know anybody, the longer you wait alone, the more uncomfortable you're bound to feel.
7 - Adress any deeper issues. Your body language usually communicates your deepest emotions at any given time, and it's not easy to fake body language.
The best way to look approachable, then, is to actually enjoy yourself in social interactions. If you feel anxious in social settings, or if you're uncomfortable around the opposite gender, get over your anxiety by seeking out oppertunities to interact with people. If you have espectially strong social anxiety (common), you may find it helpful to seek out counserling or talk to your doctor.
Tips:
* Aside from body language, other elements of your appearance can affect how you approachable you look.
Dressing in clothing in light/bright colors with textures that look soft to the touch will make you stand out more in a crowd and look more approachable.
* In a social situation, such as a party, offer to help out in some way.
Excellent tasks: Cutting vegetables, washing dishes, keeping the music going, picking up used plates
* Position yourself for conversation. If people are sitting, don't stand, position yourself so that you can comfortable talk.
A lot of the stuff I like learning about is often about areas I feel I've been lacking, since most of my life I've been gaming. I think you get a bit introverted when you spend a lot of time at the computer, but I found out by learning about it, the confidence and outgoingness (wonder if that's a word) happens so much easier and faster with some knowledge to back you up whenever you feel like changing the scenery.
Hoping to continue to post more frequently, all the best <3
Today I decided to clean up some of the clutter around my pc, half of the notes I found un-interesting and just threw them away. The other half was about poker, the rest I wrote down on a notepad. It was used to give me impulses, or things for me to study at a later time so I wouldn't forget it. Things I pick up reading books, watching clips or things I got from just talking to people.
Thought I might share <3

ordered a new computer wich should be arriving tomorrow, its a solid i7 950, gtx 470 1,28gig gfcard, 12gig ram, 2TB hd, 80gig SSD disk etc etc, gonna be nice since the one i got now is laggins shit playing sc2 in lategame, and i had alot of problems lately with crashing and stuff.
as for poker i made a couple of volumebets w some people (can find about that blogpost a couple blogs down) but basically 35k hands minimum betting 500$ w barbieman
now with 1 week left to go im gonna take rest of the month off focusing more on SC2 and just chilling, well i prolly will put in some more hands but not to much. havent been able to play SC2 in 2 weeks due to computer crashing all the time, so will have to play a shitton to get up to "the top" again, atleast on the ladder.
Also will pracc alot w my team wich sponsors me w a boost of 150€/month (yeeey) wich is pretty neat, we have a strong tight lineup so gonna have to bring some extra activity due to 2 weeks of all poker
u can visit my team myRev @ http://www.myrevenge.net/ : ) not much exciting there but yea i have alot of high hopes for us
and finnaly more to poker, ive had the best (i think?) pokermonth so far in my life, atleast pretty close to my best one, and ive played over 110 hours and OVER 50k hands wich surpassed my goal of 35k hands. so im pretty proud of myself have been grinding it out more then ive done in a month for like 4-5 months or something.
ive only been playing 1/2$-3/6$ this month (no 5/10+ cuz it fucked me over hardcore in december), mostly on this swedish site but also last couple of days ive finally got some of my roll over on Ongame with eurosuperpoker which just merged with ongame (ongame is growing alot).
and there is running a shit ton of games there so thats nice, catched a sick good heatersession this morning on ongame as u can tell from that graph so ye i feel good about it. will put down alot more volume on ongame later, since there is like running 40+ games above 200NL, compared to the swedish site im playin most of my hands at run like 6-10 games above 1/2 at best, and u need to sit there for hours trying to get more games started wich is a pain in the ass since every fucking reg on the planet instasitsout when its 3/2handed and no one will join if u sit and wait at a table..
21,000$ in the green this month! nice recovery after losing alot in december i feel i start to get a hang on 2/4 atleast for reals now as i have put down alot of volume there now in the last 6 months.
i keep failing at 5/10 but ill get there hopefully
also check out the blogpost under this one for some nice music!
gonna smoke a shitton of weed this week to "celebrate" results + putting down some volume again finally, havent smoked whole month just to keep some grind motivation
speaking of! to mixx up some from my last blogpost, something nice to listen to while stoned:
btw when guitar comes in, really reminds me of donkeykong country 1 and 2 for supernintendo? any1?
Ok, so i was thinking to maybe make a bet of like 3-5k$ or something w/e just to set a goal and follow it.
like if some1 wanna do this with me, that plays ~ the same stakes as me, ~1/2$ - 5/10$, but most volume have been around 1/2 - 2/4, still in the shotting at 5/10 and failing everytime stage atm.
im planning on not making a superlarge sample goal but atleast like 40k hands/month, playing 4-5 tables will take me around 100 hours/month wich is very realistic for me, and ive been slacking the last 4 months of the year only playing like 20-50 hours/month.
and i need to shape up.
So im planning on doing 480k or 500k hands next year, lets say 500k
anyone wanna make this bet with me? and like check off every month over MSN/skype and see if the monthlygoal was fullfilled? and bet like 3-4k$ or something on it?
and if both make their goal no one has to pay up obv just as motivation to grind
but i need something like this i think to MAKE ME DO IT
ive had 10-14bb/100 over 140k hands now last year on 1/2 and 2/4 and it would feel nice to put down the volume on those stakes for reals next year and maybe put away some money + get a profit of 1M SEK (swedishcrowns) mark next year, (wich is around 145 000$ or something)
should be doable
ive talked to my only RL medium/higherish stakes friend about it and he is up for it but he is in the middle of playing HU and learning omaha and shit and he dosnt use HEM and dont wanna get it to calculate how many hands and blablabla hes just laazy.
soooooo any1? =)
edit:
here are graphs of my play of 5/10 SEK - 15/30 SEK wich is 150$NL-450$NL basically in $
265k SEK = ~40 000$
and as some of u know i 24 tabled before this switch of sites on PS before, and made about 17 000$ rakeback there breaking even, and i klonked some tourneys and also did some retarded stuff on some other sites but im at a 60 000$ year or something everything included, starting as a nl50 grinder of the start of the year ive improved alot
just as motivation for some1 to maybe wanna do this with me as we can talk some hands and stuff over, im not too good but i guess im decent atleast
(THESE GRAPHS ARE ONLY FROM THE 2ND HALF OF MY YEAR, u can find the PS graph from my older blogwhines that i used to make about running 200BI under ev etc, but that was basically breakeven results over 600k hands)
click em for bigger
yea title says it all, just got done with 33 hour session 24 tabling plo, started 5-6 hours at 2/4 1/2 and finished up last 25-26 at 100plo
41k vpps earned, almost done with sne and quitting poker (maybe
lost alot, going busto, what else is new
i copy paste this from thread i made
i think i pissed in my pee bottles upwards of 50 times, drank about 15 gatorades, ate a handful of pretzels and maybe a cut up piece of pizza. after about 28 hours i finally went to the bathroom to deuce
luckily my girlfriend was there (pics on my blog) and she helped keep me off the ledge to bustoville and negative unhappy thoughts ville, she made it to hour 29 then fell asleep in a daze
only positive was i made 41k vpps towards getting supernova elite
negative was i continued my downard spiral to the dark unknown
will write more thoughts on this when i wake up but i feel like i could put out another 3 days if i wasnt losing every fucking hand
bring on those fucking asian bots for volume prop bet anytime (obv i will lose becuase i fucking fail though)
PTR Peak! Chosen for Victory Poker Contest!! More!
Joeingram1, December 03
This blog is going to be everywhere and probably my longest I have written
I haven't blogged for over a month now because I was kind of embarrased I wasn't able to hit 300k VPP In October like I had bet on. I think I still set the world record for most PLO hands in a month though at about 245k (not exactly sure on #) but it ended up being my most profitable month ever. I made about 22k at the tables and another 20k in bonuses so ended up being a 40k month. Not bad for failing a prop bet !!!
I ended October at around 780k VPPs and on a great pace to get SNE in an easy manner. Naturally I wanted to give myself more of a challenge so I decided to essentially take November off . I did manage 12k vpps though! My lease ended in November so instead of poker I decided to focus more on finding a new place to live, maybe a new car, maybe new roomate and it was stressing the fuck out of me. I went to Vegas for a few days and looked at City Center and Panorama places. I liked them but the area is just too ghetto for my tastes after living out here in San Diego. Plus the weather is shitty and I just wasn't that excited about it. I got back home around the 20th and was on tilt at my computer lagging a bit. So i decided to go out and purchase a whole new setup. I bought some orange Acer computer because it "looked cool" but it did have pretty good specs on it too. I didn't want to wait and get 30' monitors so I decided to try some 32' lcd tvs at first and they were just too fucking massive. So I opted to return them and go for 2 27' LG with the intention of adding on a 3rd if I liked how the setup looked.
Current setup in my room until I decide to move it out of here
I got a little happier after I got the new comp/moniotrs/speaker system/mouse but was still kinda stressed out so I decided to go shopping on Black Friday to my new fave store True Religion and 2nd fave Gucci and spend a bunch of money there. This actually made me quite happy again and I decided to come home and start grinding again. My bankroll was doing pretty well and I really didnt want to grind PLO until Decemember so I decided to play some 5/10 6m with a medium table selection. Meaning if I wasn't on tilt then I would leave bad tables with but if I was on tilt then all that shit goes out the window. Luckily I ran like a fucking god there and in the few PLO session I played. Here are all my hands/sessions so far on my new computer
My career peak on PTR has been like 28k for about a year now and I never thought I would be able to get over that hump again. Well I was finally able to and was more excited about that then actually having the money. Naturally with all this winning going on and knowing I would reach SNE this month and get 10k Cash + 10k WSOP cash instantly, win 7.5k in my prop bet and another 12kish in Bonuses along the way I decided to look at some nicer places closer to the ocean. This naturally gave me even more stress because I have looked at so many places at this point and cannot decide. Here is the view of the last place I looked at
I mean the view is fucking amazing but the inside wasn't really renovated at all and I felt like if I was going to pay 4.5k+ for rent, that I really wanted to love everything about the place. This may seem absurd to pay but that is the pretty standard price in La Jolla which is the Beverly Hills of San Diego they say. I've decided to keep looking for places around here and hopefully will be able to find one soon. My roomate ended up moving out the other day so I have now been alone for a day or two. When I say alone, I actually mean Rachael has been here as well doing her Rachael things. I really wish I could write about my feelings on our relationship in this amazing blog post but its probably better that I do not
One of the reasons I was looking for bigger place was because I brought up an amazing idea to my old roomate Kris. He essentially lived out here for 6 months but just wasn't working hard enough to make enough money and ended up going busto due to bills he has (cc,school, etc) and couldn't make enough to pay those/rent out here. He has since moved back to live with his parents in the middle of Indiana and taken a $9.50 job. He has started playing PLO recently on the side when he is not working and has been grasping the game pretty well. I proposed this to him, he could come out here starting January 1st and move in with me for free. I would take care of his bills for the first month that he has and in return he would have to be ready to work/grind for SNE playing 50-100PLO. I would take all his action if he wanted to so basically he would just have to put in the hands and work on his game. He would have ended up making around 5k in rakeback the first month instead of the 1100ish at his current job. Not only would he make more money, he would be able to have a million more options in the dating pool as the women out here are infintly better then the docks of Indiana. He thought about the idea for a few days but has ultimatly decided not to come back out here because he didn't think he could put in the hard work and deal with it all again I was really surprised by this and am kinda sad about it because I was looking forward to him actually pushing himself and achieving something at poker!
So now I am basically back to square 1 on house/apartment/condo hunting and not really sure what I want to do. But I can't really focus much on it because I need to worry about getting SNE!! I am currently at 806k VPP and have a fun grind ahead of me
Oh Yea, who remembers that video I made for the Victory Poker contest back in May??? Well turns out I got accepted to compete in that lol, I actually found out a week after I got chosen when I was tagged in the message on there Facebook page.
The 25th spot has been awarded but there are 4 more contestants being flown out along with 2 freeroll winners, 2 sponsor exemptions & Todd Wages from the Tattoo video.
The filming is scheduled for February in Las Vegas and the competition will last 14 days. Each day there will be a lifestyle competition and a Poker Battle to test each person's all-around skills. The group will be staying in a mansion and players will be eliminated daily based on performance, attitude, overall skills, bonus challenges, etc. by a panel of judges until we reach a final winner who's life will change... ----- $100,000 in tournament buy-ins, 1 year condo at Panorama Towers, car, watch, clothes, travel, a whole new world...

On the one hand I am excited about this because who knows what it could potentially lead to and I may even win it. On the other hand, I really had my mind set on 3mill+ VPP next year and maybe take a run at most VPP ever in a year. The FPP value in that alone is around 390k+ and that really gets me excited thinking about it. I'm going to wait to find out some more details on everything but there is a good chance I will be there and settle for 2-2.5mill vpps
I made a pact with myself that I wouldn't cut my hair until I have achieved SNE, this is by far the longest it has been in about 6 years and i just don't know how I feel about it. Here is a picture I have of me at the gym getting my fucking swoll on preparing to take down SNE!! lol
Thanks for reading the blog, I will be webcamming my last month of my prop bet because it is a stipulation in my SNE bet

FML seriously never been so tilted over a +4k session. I had my first PED day of the month so far today and loaded up a 2/4 session and played for about 7 hours. My goal was to make 10k and i really felt like I was on my way and playing my A+ game and crushing. Then I started to lose my focus and ped started wearing off a little and I told myself if i got down to +5k for the session I would stop, so obviously 1k later I finished up and the dream I had was over.
I was manage to rebound with a 20k vpp day though and am at 211k now for the month. Just barely behind pace but still looking good. Here is graph for the session, going going oing going and then fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
need sleep to wake up and grind some more, almost fucking there!!
I have atoned for my previous day's sins and recovered nicely today to make back the 7k I lost in my session yesterday morning. Stopped at 160k VPP exactly so not far behind pace after 18 days. It just hit me today that I am only half way to the 300k vpp mark and god damn, it sure has felt like a super long grind so far. Hopefully these next few sessions will fly by and once i hit 250k vpp it should be easy sailing from there because the goal will be so close.
Played a few sick hands today that Ill post in my next blog where I thought there was a 5 percent chance I could have lost less then I did but probably not. Need to sleeps to wake up and do it all over again tomorrow. Who knew having a gf to take care of you while you grind would be so +ev also
Almost to the 700k Milestone too, ship another few K to the account!
Graph is missing a few hundred profit from 3/6 deep tables that dont import for me for some reason
Idk what the fuck runs threw my mind sometimes and why the fuck I play like a fucking moron. Whatever I run bad when I lose this but I also play like a fucking idiot. I already know this will result in me losing a ridiculous amount of money and yet I play like an idiot. I know I should stop down at a certain point yet I act like an irresponsible fucking moron. How is it possible I can be such a sick grinder yet such a fucking idiot at the same time is beyond me. You would think after the 25th time I would learn yet learn I never do.
First session of the day I play pretty well, make a few K. Next session I luckbox my way to up a few dollars after being down 3k+. Last session I play similar style to second session and things do not go my way, ggggggggggggggggggg money
So Im playing my last session of the day today to get to my 11.5k VPPs for the day and the inevitable happens. I start to run kinda poorly Which of course sends me on some tilt to which I start 3betting alot more which then leads to me getting it all in a bunch and losing I check HEM and it says I am down 3.4k and im like wtf why did I not stop at 3k, If i lose one more big pot I am quitting this session. Before you know it im down 4.5k and just say fuck it and quit stars. Then loaded up some 100plo to finish out my target of 120k VPP total for the month.
The way I have been doing it for this month is to try to play multiple sessions a day. I usually will end my sessions if I'm up 1k+ and then come back in an hour and start up another session. Im actually pretty sure theres no way I would be up as much as I am if I did not do this. The problem comes when I do have losing sessions and dont grind it back to even. I set a 3k stop loss at the beginning but I defintly have passed it up a few sessions that I grinded it back to even or up for the session. But today was the first time I became really undisciplined + played horrendous and ended up down 5k. I swear I played so much better when I had like 3k in my account lol
Only ended up stuck 2.4k for the day which isn't too bad but still hurts because I've been doing so well lately. Should only be a few more days till I hit the 700k Milestone + a 4k fpp bonus
I also am strongly debating going for the world record for VPP in a year in 2011. I challenged the current top VPP guy needbeer to a potential prop bet on it and maybe he will take me up on it. The plan would be to get SNE by December and just spend most of that month getting my apartment outfitted to maximum comfort/productivity/relaxation in order to achieve this. Plus get a mother fucking adderall prescription for the ADD i obviously have
No cool graph for this blog post because am still really dissappoined about last session
Just hit 100k vpp for the month!! Only took me 12 days to make it to supernova! I ended the session with about 104k vpp so im a little behind pace for 31 days. I posted my graph before my last session and obviously I played fucking horrible and lost a few K but thats what I get when I play like a fucking 3bet monkey idiot.
Here is supernovaaaaa
Graph for the month before last session, of course I running bad its plo
