I'm just a lowly silverstar right now playing NL25 putting in less than 20k hands per month, but I'm going to try and start putting in a lot more volume and never play out of my BR or in games that games that I'm not good at (sngs lol). I'm going to try and work on areas of my game that are def weak, which include bluffing, barreling, image awareness, getting thinner value, squeezing, bluff catching more, and tilting. Also staying focused and being aware of what is happening in hands, since I usually just afk autopilot through hands like i'm macroing in starcraft or something, often forgetting who the PFR was, if the pot is multiway, or if there is a shortstack in the hand or something.

Lately I have just been playing very mechanically and just putting in the minimum effort needed to eek out a mediocre winrate by just eating up fish and playing a very vanilla game vs regulars (3 betting light in obv spots, cbetting in good boards, raising cbets in obv spots), never really getting out of line or ever pushing the envelope. I often take lines that are safe and easy to play, even when I know I am sacrificing EV. For example; a reg opens UTG, and I'm in the UTG+1 with AA, instead of flatting I just 3 bet, knowing that it's so obvious I have KK+ here since I am ridic unbalanced in spots like this, but not caring because it is ridiculously easy to play AA in a 3 bet pot and I don't feel like dealing with sets and crap. I barely even use my HUD anymore since I'm just following a simple strategy I've made myself that produces winning, although weak results. I did the same thing when I played SC, just blindly used a conservative BO for every MU with zero adaptation or innovation, but who needs strategy when you have over 200 apm and way better mechanics than others at your level. I'll never get past the C ranks playing like this, but w/e I can beat most of my friends and win 90% of obs games on US east, so I really have no drive to get better than this. I mean, I'm playing 16 tables while I type this, probably unknowingly playing HU on a few of them and missing tons of +EV spots, but who gives a fuck, I'm up 3 BI because people throw money at you at microstakes like people throw games at you at the D rank on iccup.

Hopefully making myself achieve supernova at NL25 and below will help me develop a decent work ethic so I can start making decent progress. Money is a good motivator, but I think MORE money + fun is an even better one

Focusing on getting better and moving up in stakes will serve you much better in terms of overall profit and Supernova gain.

Nitting it up since 2006
