Sure, sometimes it's hard to get a read on the turn. I can understand why you'd feel good about 88 there if you put him on kings (as I'm sure we all did). So yeah, I can see why if you didn't put the turn on a king you'd shove. But the river was just a faceup king. That's a basic read. Should have laid it down on the flop tbh. If your read is that he has kings and that the river will also be a king, just trust your read. |
