The laws of mathematics do not apply after midnight EST.
Yes, I'm on fucking lifetilt again. Go up 11Buyins before midnight, go down 14Buyins after midnight. Same solid play, TAG as usual, but apparently any two cards will dominate any holding of mine once it's past midnight.
If you know a way to lock software at certain hours, let me know. I'm dead serious. Everytime I run according to odds, I make profit around the evening and lose it all at night. So much for slowly grinding my BR up to move up the stakes.

Brag Blog :)

Hey guys, I don't have PT so I can't brag with a graphic but here are my stats on Hold'em indicator (which I get for free, not as good as PT but does a bit of what PAHUD does and a bit of stats keeping).
Hands: 455
VPIP: 36
PFR: 14
AF: 4.6
WSD: 11%
WSDW: 65%
Balance: +154$
Basically turned the 50$ instant bankroll on UB with a bit of a degen strategy (played way over my limit, 25/50NL) into 204$. Played a bit looser than I usually do, blaming it on my transition from FR to 6max, really loving the fact that there are more 6 handed tables on UB than where I used to play (PP and IPN). In other news, went for the daily 32k MTT on FTP, beat most pros in ranking but still placed out of the money. Very poor ROI on mTTs but thats to be expected, I play for the experience and the challenge more. I think UB is where I'm settling. The software tilts the fuck out of me but hell, the games are incredibly soft for online poker and players "respect" your bets a bit more (less chasers hitting trips and flushes on rivers).
Help Needed !

Hey guys, I don't really know where to turn to so I thought I'd post here in my blog and see if any of you guys have advice or ideas for me. I have been playing poker for quite some time now (although only recently with real money) and I don't seem to be able to get out of the micro grinding. Actually, I've been losing money (about 150$ in 2 weeks) on a constant basis so far playing at .02/.04 and .05/.10 NL FR. I have read many articles on this site and others, looked at pros' videos and such. I think I am playing by the book, only raising AA-KK-AK preflop, calling with pockets and AQ/AJ suited if I have position and no one raised or very few players called the BB, just what seems to be very tight play to me (maybe I'm wrong too). But even with playing this tight, I always seem to lose big hands to incredibly donkish players. Best example is about 30 minutes ago, I get dealt AKc and 4bet from middle position, guy on the button calls me so I guess he has either pockets or high cards (he actually has 9-10 offsuit). Flop comes out with 2 more clubs, I have a flush draw (hand was Jc-4d-3c), he checks, I raise as a continuation bet, he goes all-in ... I have about 2x his stack so I call, and when I see the cards I'm happy I called, seeing how he had nothing. Turn and River come, no clubs but the Q and an 8 comes out and he gets a straight on me. Lose 5$ ... This is basically what happens on all of my hands and I am thinking it's not just luck, everybody thinks they are the unluckiest poker players so I'm sure theres something I am doing wrong but I can't seem to point it out. I never hit on the flop, I can't seem to make a flush even if my life depends on it and everytime I seem to run into some random turn/river hits. I am not a beast at reading my opponents but the more I play, the more I feel like I can't read them at all ... Should I change stakes? Is it because there are simply too many lucky-a** donks on the micros??? I play solid against the other grinders and multi tablers but get raped constantly by fish and donks...
Ideas? Advice? Free money? (j/k, unless you wanna stake me 1k so I can play higher blinds haha)
**Edit : Forgot to mention, I basically never tilted through this, I kept telling myself if I keep playing consistent and tight in the end I can only end up winning more than I lose but I'm on the verge of losing all of my BR, I'm actually not going to touch the tables until I find out what's wrong with my play.

Looking to trade money from an IPN to another, willing to either trade my CDPoker money for the equivalent on Titan or vice versa. If you're interested reply to this with contact info or mail me fe.fcnz@gmail.com
I basically wanna combine my whole BR into one, if you have about 100$ on either of these sites you have enough, my total BR is under 100 on both tables
First post, epic comeback included!!!
dafcnz, Mar 11 2008
Hey guys, this is my first blog post so I wanted to introduce myself a bit before touching onto anything. The name's Francis but my friends called me Frank. I currently reside in Sherbrooke, Quebec (yes, I am french-canadian). Quick story for those of you with Starcraft background, I actually wore the XDS tag just as my fellow frenchie Guillaume Patry (Although he doesn't know me, I played Counter-Strike for XDS). I hear he plays poker professionally now too :o Apart from that, I have been playing poker for fun for about 2-3 years, played about a dozen live games (I actually have never lost a tournament or left negative in a live cash game) and played online with play money alot. Just started a BR with the 50$ bonus on IPN, barely over so far but I wanted to play a good 10k hands at micro to get a feel of playing with my actual money. I will try to keep the blog updated with my status, funny stories and my online findings.
Now that I've introduced myself, here's a story from today!
Epic comeback in the 7,500$ GP Rebuy NLHE Tournament on IPN.
So I decide that cashgames are boring at the moment and that I should play a tournament. My choice stops on the 7,500$ GP Rebuy (5$+0.50). I sign up, along with 553 other players. I start with AA (woohoo) and double up first hand. I then slowly build up my stack to around 40k when things go real bad.
Theres about 100 players left and as I said I have about 40k in chips, being 3rd on my table. I make a decent call but get unlucky on the river and go down to about 20k. I then play a bad hand about 3 hands after that I lose on showdown and remain with 300$. At this point I know my tournament is over. The blinds are 500/1,000 and I am on BB. I somehow win that hand with 4 players in it and climb up to around 1.5k, just to go all-in on the next hand and triple up to roughly 5k. 2 hands later I triple up again to 15k and somehow I seem to be back in the game with maybe enough to last until after the bubble. Well turns out well after the bubble and about 25 minutes after I was down to 300, I am up with a stack of 208,000 and chip leader of the tournament!!!
I was aiming for the top5 prizes at that point but two arguable calls, high blinds and playing a bit too aggressive got me a 17th place and 72.37$. Not bad for my first real money tournament ever! :D
