Transition... soon...
DarkMigore, May 04 2007
My BR is about 160 an this weekend i expect to move to NL10, got some beats todays, but I think they were all standard beats.
I'm 8 tablin, played more than 3k wednesday. In 170 I started to 9 tablin but got some beats and went back to 8. The consequences of getting some beats is my post here.
I'll not stop playing NL5 and suddenly open some NL10 tables, i'll gradually start to open NL10 tables and keep playing some NL%. I'll do something like that:
BR 200 is enought to NL10, I'll be 9 tabling and when my BR hit 205 i'll change 1 table from NL5 to NL10. On 210 another... and so on...
The beats:

ABC Poker
DarkMigore, Apr 30 2007
In the last two days i've been trying to learn more about poker and stuff, but it didn't worked out very well. I just win money when i play the ABC poker. I'll wait till i get to NL25 and start to play 6max tables and try to improve more.
It's hard to pass through 140. When I come near that i start to get some bad beats. Like those:

At the higher point my BR was something like 136, then the hands above started to happen
I might need coaching
DarkMigore, Apr 29 2007
I really have problems to find out the strenght of other players hands...
I play some marginal hands and lose some money that i shouldn't lose.
An example:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/183417
Didn't wnat to do it, at least till i go to 6-max, but i'm haveing some trouble to get there. The problem is that i don't have money to pay for it yet. The coach is like, half of my BR.
Nice day
DarkMigore, Apr 28 2007
Today my BR had a huge variance, I'm glad i did not tilted... much.
Lost some hands that were played poorly, but i try to learn with my mistakes. Hope I don't make the same mistakes again. Probably i will, but... anyway...
Some hands:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/182753
Maybe I should bet a litle more in the flop, or push, since vilain is a shortstack. As played i guess i should fold river, but is such a small bet...
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/182788
I tryed to steal the blinds, but like thefirst hand of the previus post I got screwed. Posted in the forum for help and people there were pretty disgusted (?) by this hand.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/182835
Argh, i had a 6 card str, it should count something.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/182839
Tilted a little.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/182843
I think I should bet turn here, the 2 don't change anything.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/182912
He could have stacked me here. Lucky.

Bad call... Lucky.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/182961
Midian told in comments to bet turn, but i think it is a good spot for the other player to slowplay a flush, PF raiser being agressive. But it can work as a semi-bluff, if the villian flush is not the nut flush. Tough spot, not really sure whats the best move here.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/182913
Similar to the previus hand, but i had a card to make the flush. Suckout.
And finally...

Afterall i ended up the day positive. I said i would post many graphs, but they are cool
Stuck
DarkMigore, Apr 27 2007
My BR is stucked between 120 and 140 for a few days. One of the reasons i think it's happening, it's because i do some stupid shit sometimes. Like this:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/182279
Tryed to steal the blind...
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/182317
I lerned a lot since I got PT (like stealind blinds ), and I think I'm progressing, except for these shit I do sometimes. Gotta stop doing that. If weren't for these two hands I would be positive today.
First day with PT
DarkMigore, Apr 25 2007
Today was my first day with PT and I don't know how to use it to improve my game. But I will find out. I searched here to find some numbers to take as a base to guide me. I also found a p2p link to a helpfull article.
My stats for today:
My numbers are not very good (VPIP/PFR/AF), from what i read need to be a little more agressive and play more hands.
Some hands:
1- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/181199
Wow, this hands sux, just realized it now. Got lucky.
2- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/181152
3- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/181177
Third consecutive hand that he went all-in PF. Good call?
4- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/181246
Very agressive guy. I had to do it.
5- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/181211
Standard... Someday I'll have the guts to fold that.
6- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/181326
Rakikoria was very agressive. Did I played it well?
7- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/181371
I think it's fine. Overpocketpair...
I really have a problem with draws, I understand that pott odd thing but I don't know if I'm using it properly in the game.
8- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/181208
"Lord is my sheperd", no he isn't.
9- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/181239
Is this ok?
10- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/181336
Bet more in any street? Played cautiously because there was a flush in the board.
11- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/181330
Ppl in comments didn't like my fold, but if i think he have a flush is the right thing to do isn't it? Can't trust my reading skills yet tho.
I'll try to post more often now, since i got PT, a good resource to analyse my game. Need to learn to use it tho.
BTW, someone know how to select all sessions of the same day quickly? I always have to click one by one. =/
Finally, my daily graph. I wont post it every time, just today.
Reviewing
DarkMigore, Apr 24 2007
I'm not being able to make money in the las few days.
Need to stop playing medium bets with weak hands.
Need to learn to plays draws.
Yesterday I played a huge session (for me), like 2 and a half hours. But couldn't make money.
Hands:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/179063
this is ok? I think i should be more agressive on the flop. Actually, I just called the flop and turn because his bets were too small to make me fold my hand. But I was scared of a 8 or TT.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/180102
As i said before, don't really know how to play draws. Specially out of position.
I'll add a article that i liked in the comments that I found some days ago in my computer.
And a funny video.
Super Mario Frustration
Special Thanks to Midian that made analysed all my hands in the las blog entry.
Aaaaaaaaaargh

Bad day, bad run, wathever, right after a "doing good" post. Think i got overconfident and greedy, resulting in lack of attention in the game.
This bad run stated right after yesterdays posting, so here I am posting again to break the spell.
LP not showing PP hands gave me bad luck.
I will not start all that whining, but it would be a good moment to do it.
Soma hands:
1- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/178070
don't know if the turn fold was the best thing to do (this after the results), but I would have folded river anyway
2- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/178553
Don't know if this is a call, still have som problem with thesse hands
3- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/178562
Ez fold for probable straight?
4- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/178572
Don't know it is a call PF, but i think I made a good call.
5- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/178575
Bad call, huge suckout. Obv he had a T.
6- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/178650
There is a hand like this already... It's about pot odds, I'll check if it is profitable to call here, but a 6 made a possible straight in the board.
7- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/178714
All day like this...
8- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/178722
Fold river? Any hitted set beat me.
Doing fine
DarkMigore, Apr 20 2007
I'va been doing good lately, it's been a few days since the last day I lost money.
I'm 6 tabling, today I could open a 7th table, but I lost some money in a dumb play and had to come back to 6. I'm playin a decent number of hands/day, but still can play more.
Stupid hand that made me come back to 6 tables (closed tables and I don't want to look for it in HH):
I got pocket Aces, 2 callers to my raise, flop came KK5, I raised, the guy next to me went all-in, the other guy called all-in, and I made a dumb call. Pretty stupid, kinda obv that one of them had a King...
I thought about trying SnG and tourneys, but I decided to play a PlayMoney SnG to check it out. I lost... Two bad beats though. I was second chip leader, 6k chips, first had 8k, and the other 4 or 5 like 2, 3k each. So i got pocket 8s, and hit a set in the flop and went all-in, the guy called and he had KhQs, and came 4 hearts in the table and I lost. The next hand I got QQ and went all-in PF, the chip leader called me with 5Xo, and came two fives on the board. I think I did good though.

Almost forgot, I want to make a transfer at partypoker,
Is it safe? I mean, someone ever had a problem with it?
Is it insta transfer?
Do I need to do something else in the transfer? like a confirmation e-mail or something?
I'm very suspicious about those things.
Cold blood
DarkMigore, Apr 16 2007
Today during my session I got a huge bad beat, and i just closed the table and continued to play as nothing happend, no nervous, no tilt. Some time ago i got nervous for any lost penny.
I'm playing more tables now, 4 now, 5 before the bad beat. Using my "1 table/20 dolars" system. Playing more tables is forcing me to play bigger sessions. when I play 2 or 3 tables, when i win a a small pot i used to end the session, this made me play varius small sessions a day. Playing 4 and 5 tables, winning a small bet hardly compensate the other tables blinds, and stuff. Since i have to pay attention in more tables, time pass much faster.
I decided to stop posting like a girl too, but this is not a blog only aboout poker, it's about personal growing. Ok, really stoped now.
Some hands:

I liked this hand, i knew he was going to bet flop.

=/
Don't know if it is good. Maybe fold river is the best option.
