So i dropped 5 buyins and now im at $200, so nl10 it is.

I dunno i just cant win at poker anymore, i get my money in ahead and lose, that or im setup totally. I've analysed my hands and seriously there are very few that i'm not happy with the way i played them. I guess playing 25/22 is gunna be high variance but sick shit cba. Gunna mass table some and rebuild or something whatever idunno, im really pissed off.

Is to start running good again.
I've been away from poker mostly for 3 weeks since i had a mental block about it, life tilt so to speak.

Cashed out most my roll, to try and give me some kind of feeling that i've actually accomplished something with the one year that ive now been playing poker. left myself with like $350 to play nl25 and rebuild with and well, downswing still raging on.

Dunno, i made a couple spews including one big one where i got it in with AQs preflop, but i dunno i still dont mind that play, but most of it this session was just missing my draws and getting setup. Didnt hit a set in 1k hands, and got flushed over flushed for over a buyin too. Nevermind though, ill just keep playing nl25 unless i drop to $200 then ill have to move down in my rebuilding.

Gunna buy a second monitor and dunno what else, but either way im still happy.

Down 260$ at nl50 and only about 1 buyin of it was my fault. I got my money in massive favourite every time and still lose, AA vs KK allin on a rag flop, i lose ofc. I just cud not win a hand, it was most unreal thing ever.

I havnt played poker in ages either and then to come back to this, to ruin my BR further. What the fuck when will this downswing end?

Was at 2000, now sitting on 1150. And it's a genuine downswing. It hurts like fuck.

Dropped 350 from my shot at nl100, then now 8 buyins down on nl50. I guess i can keep going until

I've gotta stop looking at it as real money, doesnt help that my friends keep going "hows poker going, how much are u winning etc"

when all i really want to do is improve, i personally dont care about the money id rather lose it all and get better at poker than keep it and be shit.

I'll stay at nl50 until 800 then drop down another time. Gives me another 8 buyins or so before i have to regrind from 25. Alarm bells arnt ringing yet.

Rambling like mad but at least im talking positive towards the end of the blog rather than like i was at the start lol

Well, havnt updated this in a while, becuase i havnt played any poker in a while. Mid november was kinda shitty, hit a sicko downswing as i try and move up and really feel like shit, then england lose to croatia and gg qualification. Decided to take a bit of time away, and now ive got a tonne of work to do since its the end of term. So bit busy.

Nevertheless, november was my biggest month ever (despite the downswing). For that, im greatful and hopefully ill be able to get back to beating nl50 in december.

Did a session of nl25 today, 1k hands, won exactly a buyin so cant complain that went okay. Gunna play a few more sessions of nl25 before i go back up to nl50 for confidence reasons (im rolled for nl50 comfortably).

Well, im a bit tilted right now, last couple days have been the worst in my poker "career"

I'm down $650 in a couple of days, which to me is huge. Completely raped by the weekend donks. I'm going to take a bit of time off from poker and relax.

I'm rolled comfortably for nl50 but nl100 is a long way away now.

Took a shot at nl100 and got rapeed so hard.

Sad thing is, it wasnt the regs who took my money. The fucking donks did. The 70vpip fish hit every time. Really gay to hit such a swing as i move up. 3-4 buyins isnt exactly much of a drop but its fucking huge when you have juust moved up.

Sigh sigh sigh. Absoltuely sick. i want to fucking smash something. So so so gay. I could handle it if i was beaten by bad play or better players but to move up only to get raped by donks is fucking pisssssssss annoying guyg266226g16degd6asgd6a. I dont think i even won a single pot bigger than like $70 or something. Really gross.

back to nl50 to regrind 7 buyins --;; Maybe when i come back to nl100 ill run better.

Well, sitting on just over 2k BR so its time for nl100. Played a very long session by my standards just now and it was insanely swingy. Graph below.



I'm going to continue aggressive BR management, ill take some shots at nl100, if i drop below 1700 ill move back down again, if i feel its a sick couple of coolers ill allow myself to drop to 1500, but no further before moving back down again.

As for today, im gunna eat some food, take a little break, chill for a while, then take some shots at nl100 in a couple hours.

Hopefully it will start well to give me a bit of a buffer. Its the weekend so i assume the tables will be soft, so i just want to run good vs the weekend donks for once!

Ended the session with JJ vs QQ on rag flop for a buyin which is gay, but still cant complain about the session and indeed today :D

I'm nearly rolled for nl100 (just under 2k BR) which is quite sick, i dont feel ready to move up yet but if i keep running like this ill move up at like 2500 i guess.

Well, i didnt play any poker last night cos i went to bed really early, so i woke up at 6am this morning and put in a session.

Went really really nice, ended up +7 buyins near enough. Its pretty scary having effective stacks of $200 having not moved up to nl50 long ago, but i'm not playing scared money at all. I feel i have an edge so ill keep pressing it.

So, overall week 2 of november has been good. I've moved up to nl50 and im doing fairly well, really small sample but im running/playing hot. November is already my biggest month by quite a margin and i've only played 2 weeks. Really pleased about the recovery from my -6 buyin day and im very happy with the winrate considering this. Hopefully it continues. Heres my stats/graph for week 2.
