I'm thinking about NL100 already... Until now all the shots I took were pretty agressive, but now I'm thinking about starting to build a "safer" bankroll. I want you guys opnions on this one.
Started up the grind again on Monday. Just before Black Friday hit I decided to get a summer job for the first time in 2 years lol. I usually just grinded it out during the summers but my resume was looking a little bare and I am one year away from graduating so I ended looking for some work to beef it up a bit. The plan was to not make any withdrawals all summer and let the roll build up. When Black Friday hit I panicked like most of you guys probably did too and pulled the snap withdrawal of my entire roll just to be safe. My condolences to the pro american grinders who can not longer play. I hope things are working out for you guys. I was doing the real life grind for the first time in a while and not playing any poker at all. It was nice to not have to worry about the swings and stress that poker brings. Unfortunately I ended up getting laid off last friday from that shitty job and ended up starting the poker grind again on Monday after a 2 month hiatus.

I decided to go with William Hill over on iPoker. I got a pretty sick deal and cant complain about much over there other than the software lags on my comp a bit when I get 9+ tables going but my comp is pretty shitty too so its not there fault lol. I am a full ring player so the games on iPoker run 10 handed instead of 9. The games are super tight from what I have seen so far. I have definitely turned up the aggression because of this and have been running most of the players over so far. My red line is actually nice for once lol.
I also finally started going back to the gym again at the start of May. I have been lifting 5x a week, doing a cross-fit class 2x a week, and also playing in a ball hockey league 2x a week. These cross-fit classes are exhausting. They work a lot of your core muscles and also involve a lot of cardio. They are a lot of fun too and I already know most of the people in the class since it's a pretty small gym and most of the members are around the same age as me. Ball hockey is amazing for cardio. It takes 10x more than ice hockey does since you are always running around and dont get to glide at times like you do in Ice hockey. My team is a bunch of my buddies who I grew up playing hockey with and we are doing pretty well. The league that we play is surprisingly good and some of the games get really serious lol. My city is heavily populated with Portuguese ppl so a lot of people call the league the Portuguese Stanley Cup lol. A lot of them play ball hockey since most of them didnt play Ice hockey growing up and cant skate lol. Most of them played soccer so they are used to running around a ton and some of this for sure benefits them because they can ware teams down. But not mine :D.
Well thats basically all that has been going on for me so far. Hopefully I can do well for the remaining of June and book a nice little profit. I am going to try and play atleast 30k hands before the month is over. My July is going to be very busy because I already have a lot planned.
First I am going to see The Tragically Hip on July 1st for Canada Day in Toronto. The Hip are one my favorite rock bands but I still havent seen them! So many hit songs. Great songs to drink too. We got a hotel in Toronto for that night so I am going to be getting absolutely ruined before we go. Cant wait! Should be a great night.
On the 9th Im going to an outdoor obstacle course race called the Warrior Dash. To be honest I dont know a whole lot about it. One of my buddies from school set it up and it looked pretty cool so why not. We're renting a van and making the trip. It will be nice to see all my good buddies from school since I have seen them since school ended when we all went to Cuba together. The Warrior Dash goes across all of USA too not just Canada. On the 12th I am going to see The Black Keys in London at the John Labbat Center. Another great rock band. Needless to say this will be another night of drinking and smoking joints while jamming out. I have my own place in London too since its where I go to school atm so it works out really well.

So I apparently managed to find the perfect workout that doesn't leave me tired but energized, found my body needs and anti-needs and how to manipulate energy and mood with influencing neurotransmitters.
Man I felt great, so great that on Sunday after gym I felt so powered up I was jumping around the flat like a superhero at 11pm without a shirt and heating, cleaning stuff and punching air for the hell of it and who knows what else, and the same the next morning. Superheroes don't need heat and shirts right?
'Surprisingly' I snap got a cold and headache, and now I am sitting here, writing a pathetic blog on my PC, on the evening of the day of my official graduation, where not only superheroes, but even the most average Joe is getting hammered.
