I finally feel like I have the ability to make a steady income playing poker. I've played nearly 1,000 90 man SNG's in the last 10 days or so and have been doing really great. When I'm running terrible I'm breakeven and when I'm running good I have like a 100% roi. My goal at the start of the year was to play 5k tournaments, but I'm going to change that to 20k.
So I started of with the $3.30's and thats where probably 85% of my volume is. About 12% is $6.50' and the last 3% is $13.
I'm still waiting on a controller in the mail, does anyone here have experience using a controller with table ninja for poker?
So I haven't played as much as I've wanted. I've been sick the last week I feel and haven't really had a good mindset. So the volume goal is not being met yet. Would have played yesterday but V-Day snuck up on me and I had to panic and do something lol.
This is my month so far. All $6 90 man KO's. Played 69 Profit 475. So yeah, it's been fairly productive, even without the volume I'd hoped for.
I've noticed that I have a good chunk more wins than any other cash...which seemed wierd to me, so I did some HH just to see if I'm just running that good or what. Obviously I'm running pretty good, but at the same time, I noticed that alot of people are bad. Specifically in dealing with me 3bet shoving on them HU. For some reason, it seems like people get tired of it and are content with flipping with 75s...and stuff like that. I dunno, maybe I'm missing something but it seems bad to call a 20bb 3bet shove there. Could be me though.
On a side note, I've started playing WOW again, and they have made that game so much better it's not even funny. I'm really impressed with the progress they have made.
Some of my outside of poker goals are going well. I'm sleeping like a normal human again which is nice. I'm eating A TON better. Not sure if I've lost any weight, but I feel thinner and thats what matters...Right? Now that the snow is finally gone I plan on getting outside with my dog a little bit more, which will be awesome.
Anyways, that's all for now, going to play some this afternoon and maybe this evening. Tata
The colors on these monitors are absolutely stunning but I have one gripe about these monitors. The text isn't quite as sharp as my previous monitor. Been going around some forums on calibration methods but it's all for color. And I'm fine with the color/brightness etc. I just need the text to be a bit sharper.
Anybody have experience in this area or any ideas?
Her name is Kayla, she was born on feb 11th à 5:18 AM, it didn't go exactly as expected, 9 hours of labor and then they realized it was too risky for her to give birth the normal way... so she got a Cesarean (baby had its umbilical cord 3 times wrapped around the neck)
but everything ended well, she's super healthy and cute as hell
first 2 days I had to take care of literally everything cuz of the surgery my gf was too weak, she's recovering pretty fast though
It's surpising the joy this little thing can bring into someone's life =)
ok so my friend reminded me about an incident which happened idk maybe a year or so ago.
We were having an LP table at low stakes and it was me and 3 other LPers. As I recall we played for a while and then we started doing flips. Me and a guy had agreed to do a flip next hand according to myself and 2 other people. (confirmed afterward) the guy swears he never agreed to the flip.
What happened was I shoved and he said "my hand is shit I can't call this" and folded
I brought this up to him and he continues to deny having agreed to a flip. What should I think/do
In December I started using Auto Time sheet and let it run in the background.
The total since December 1 is 618 hours. So I spent 8.4 hours/day average each day doing stuff on my PC!
The breakdown is:
13 days clear time internet browser. A ton of stuff is poker some 60% will be LP/DC/vids/PTR and the rest online shows like Hell's kitchen (I saw all episodes) youtube, futurama, and uni studies.
5.3 days clear time poker (Active in client+HM analysis+Pokerstove/equilab+notepad+excel calcs. Analysis took some 25% of my poker)
1.17 days clear time media player (poker vids I dled are in this, but mostly movies)
1.1 days Skype/MSN (mostly poker)
1.6 days Word/power point for writing uni stuff/studying and writing poker notes.
Bottom line is:
Wasted time much lol?
Of the time I am on my PC I spent just 16% clear time actually playing poker at the tables, where that is supposed to be my primary activity!
DC coaches will tell you 'thinking about poker counts too' but I am more like a poker fan/nerd than an actual player! Furthermore, My time spent on studying for Uni is just some 40 hours in last 76 days, which is really not a lot considering that all exams were online this year and the time includes most of my preparation/writing times...
And yet...I feel constantly stressed and tired, my house gets messy all too often, I forget things and I have been in a state of burnout past several weeks with my ability for social interaction reduced, ability to avoid tilt shattered, and my eyes twitching constantly which apparently is a sign of severe stress :O
So I accidentally sat down at an NL 50 6max rush table and I'm like oh shit whoops missed the NL 25 table. I get put on the big blind. I could have played this the smart way and just left and only lost $.50 but I was like naw I'll just bluff this hand win the pot and leave. Then like a fucking retard I do this shit.
