Except for high stakes hands, or I'd say half of hands asking a direct question, why don't you comment on hands to the right? Post your reasons, or tell me what type of hands you do post on. I'm curious, because that's one of my favorite parts of lp, and I feel like only 2 or 3 people post on hands that aren't their own regularly.
Hey all, finally got MSN. Don't really know how to use it yet though. If anyone wants to talk poker or whatever hit me up. I play NL100 and that's definitely my best game, but I also like stud and other stuff too. PM me if you want it.
Like most of you I found my way here instead of the Deuces because of TL.net. I never had an account, just lurked because I liked SC strategy (I have the micro of a 73-old though). I haven't been back really since I started poker seriously last summer. For some reason I decided to search "poker" there tonight and read the threads. Obviously they're hilarious, but it begs the question: Why don't more TL people make use of LP and win monies? I mean I remember being suspicious of the "shady" online poker site that generated a link everytime someone typed "poker" and the get rich quick stories that Tl-to-LP graduates told, but after checking it out I realized that there were just a bunch of nice people sharing incredibly valuable secrets with me simply because I signed up for their website (thx btw). I guess this would do better over there, but I don't have an account, so you guys tell me, why aren't more TL people hitting us up for poker know-how?
So I blog about how I run bad sometimes. Well sometimes I run good too, so I'll tell you about that. +4bi in 700 hands at nl100 today. Basically just hitting two outers like it was my job, getting AA in v KK bvb, and making the effective nuts against fish. I ran +200 in all in EV, but that doesn't count the time I rivered a J on 98xx vs a reg who thinks I'm FOS and had QQ.
Please more comment on this hand. Two pair is usually the nuts in 3bets, but I got my squeeze called in two spots, and they have to know AK is a huge part of my range, so if I bet, do I b/f (Depending on which one raises) do I b/c (99,KK, AA raises?) or do I just try and check it down because this board hits my range so hard that no one will bluff. Both villains seem thinking, so I think they're aware that I have a straight or set like 70% of the time here

They've been out for a while, but they still get me on the grind... plus ski season's over which means wakeboarding and Stellas to these joints soon enough. I LOVE COKE RAP.
After a few months of putting it off, I finally spent my ironman medals on the thing with the best conversion rate, tourney tokens (because it doesn't come out of your MGR). I had been dreading this, because given that there are no $26 sitngos the tokens must be used for MTTs, meaning while I was getting some nice EV rakeback,, there was a >50% chance that bitch Sklansky would steal all my monies. I have no idea what I'm doing in tourneys so I just opened up two 45 mans and a 90 knockout and promptly ran shit (ran good). Ship 5th in the 45 man and 6th in the 90 man (only one knockout though), something like 200 bucks. As a cash player I'll take it.
I'm not sure I'm going to do the same thing next month, I wish I could just mass table SNGs with them. Oh well, I think I'm going to start using points for the token sattys and then just playing shitloads of these so my real rakeback (precious MGR) doesn't get touched at all. Furthermore, I'd like to continue to win at cash. Hope everyone runs well.
Has anyone ever done a standing insurance agreement (LOL HELLMUTH, I know)? As in, has a player traded his all-in results with another player in return for his all-in EV minus a charge? It obviously would require some trust but with datamines etc wouldn't be any harder than any other deal that occurs between poker players (taking pieces, etc). I'm kind of curious if anyone has done this, what people think about it etc. The more I think about it, I'd be willing to give my results to someone for EV and a charge. Not asking for a deal though, just thoughts.
