Yes, the I and N were purposely capitalized. I have been inspired, although not in poker, but among other things in my life. I have come to some realizations, and learned some new things about myself, and with that, I want to say that i am IN this for the long haul, I am deep IN this, I am ready; I am IN.
With that being said, it has become apparent that I have separated myself from things I hold dear to me. I am still playing baseball although I have had a huge set back in my career: Ulnar Collateral Ligament Reconstructive Surgery a.k.a. Tommy John Surgery. The date of surgery was May 10 of last year, and the process of rehabilitation can take anywhere from 12 to 18 months or longer. I was on pace to finish in roughly 13 months, when I succumbed to a minor setback: inflammation in my new ligament ):. I became somewhat depressed and pessimistic as my demon would not go away. I felt like I wasn't accepted as part of the team anymore. As my arm struggled, so did my social life and feeling of acceptance by my peers in a linear fashion.
Hope was restored after taking Rx anti-inflammatory, taking a wonderful spring break, and throwing a baseball again last friday. I threw it well and with conviction, and I will resume my throwing program tomorrow. This is a great sign as I hope to one day turn into a professional baseball player.
While playing poker I had somewhat of a small epiphany. What am I doing with my life? It's a beautiful 78* outside right now, and I'm grinding at a poker game? Really? Don't get me wrong, I want to succeed at poker, obviously. I want to dominate, but it's not my passion. Baseball is my passion. So I took a break, and I ran. It wasn't long, but I needed to do it. And I need to do it five to seven times a week. There's no excuse not too.
I have a revamped, renewed desire to become the best at baseball. This is a tough rehab, it makes the athletic mind numb. It takes your mental strength and tweaks it, tears at it, stretches it to the max. This is without a doubt the most I've ever been challenged mentally, and I'm hoping to come away from this experience with so much more than I began it with.
With all of this being said, being the competitor that I am, I always want to get better at what I am participating in. This was a post not directed at poker, but I did play today, had a break even session, felt like i was running good, but didn't play but for only an hour. I was getting a lot of folds it seemed like, and this was how my session went...+ Show Spoiler +

This is one hand I would like feedback on. This was obviously a misclick. I mean to fold on the flop but clicked call fml. My question is this: how it's played [misclick] how many times to i abandon my hand? I feel this was a stupid move even though it "worked". Do we let go? or can we push against tighter opponets?

I play recreational, just for some pocket money and fun.
I just dont know where i'm heading with poker, i really dont want to play tourneys for a living cause that will stress me and kill me. Altho i really like them and think I have an edge in them.
What do you guys think? And how about my stats, are they good?
Should I perhaps put some more volume in?
So I don't now if it's possible but I think I saw someone getting this - I'm talking about anyd oppurtunity to ask FTP to send my Play history, I mean, hands played and money won.Since I don't use HEM or another manager but still curios to see my graph if possible, so yeah - does someone know if this is possible and how could it be done? Thanks.
Stake Recap + FTP For PS Transferby Gadget, March 21
Thanks for the stake guys. I played really well for the most part. I money bubbled the Brawl when I lost AQ < 1010 for about 22BB's. I had 3 KO's. The 150k GTD was the only tournament I didnt go somewhat deep in. In the 1m GTD I reshoved 3 straight hands with 15-20BB and got called the 3rd time by AA, I had AK. I min cashed. In the mulligan I lost 88 < AJ for about 14BB's, and I was out in 137th i believe, something like 106 paid.
I already transferred you guys back the money. It should be around 80% of what you sent me.
$961+$120 = $1081
10% = $108.10
Can anyone send me $500 on pokerstars for $500 on FTP. I'll send first to reputable members.
Hi guys
Just finished an amazing poker "week" for me
Sunday 13th - Sunday 20th
Nl25 6max stars
hands played: 17139
Profits: + 502 $ ( incl 74$ in Bonus Vipcash and FPPsats)
Overall with StarsNl25 and CakepokerNL20Hu i am up + 655 $ this month so far.
Funny or more so Sadly
here is a graph from me playing NL25 6max Pokerstars from 3 years ago lol
Sick fail but i am happy and positive i did learn a bunch from this 3 years of constant up and downs
Took way too long for me
GL ALL
@ Keuner do u still play ?
I liked u some years ago when we played NL50 on Ipoker and Unibet
For whatever reason though u recently started to comment some of my hands and blogs in a very "negative" way
I think u are one of the very few players at this site who dont have the right to shit on me at all
Since allthough my pokercareer was a complete fail u were one of the very few who did even worse.
90% of your months when we played looked like Net result -400 rakebackgrind + 700$
In fact in all these years i have never seen a graph from u were u won some decent money at Nl100 or NL200
Always just a very small microstakes grinder who could grow a small BR due to rakeback
If u can proof me otherwise id gladly take anything written above back and congratulate u
If not just stfu
Also who is storkgm on Pokerstars ?
I believe he was from LP also and is failing for years ?
recently i played like 600 hands with him on 6max
well, i'm back, kind of. i'm in school full time and i just kinda got bored of not playing (havent played since may 2010)
decided that i would be humble and start by getting $500EV at nl25, and $2000EV at nl50 (i haven't played these limits since 2008, so its a bit of an ego hit, but nothing i cant handle). i still have a fair bit of my roll intact so thats not really a big issue, although moving to nl200 may be, because i plan on paying for school and things over the course of this next school year and because im a pretty big br nit (definitely 20k minimum for nl200 for me.)
it took more hands than i expected, and even nl25 was more emotionally difficult for me than i expected, but i think it was good and i learned alot and it helped me adjust back in to poker
i might actually stay at nl50 longer, as you can tell my graph, i am on a bit of a heater, and i dont like leaving a limit on a heater, it seems really a good way to run into a brick wall
other than that, i mean, i think i can get back to my prime pretty quickly if i continue to play, but , being full time school, even last couple weeks i didnt play poker, i was just addicted to minecraft and playing that, but its sorta over now and i think im going to have a bunch of projects near the end of the semester.
anyway, cheers lp, as usual a tip of the hat to dryath and edzwoo who i owe everything to for not shunning me for having disappeared for so long

dunno if anyone else had similar results but i can say almost beyond the shadow of a doubt that exactly MSE was what was causing mass lag while using TN + Hud (am running vista32) , so if anyone ever has choppiness using tableninja or holdem manager, try unintsalling it (disabling in msconfig didnt seem to work)
This is quite a long post but I have a lot on my mind and feel that I should share it with you guys.
I feel that this stage in my poker development I have hit the point in what I call a "poker revelation". What I mean by this is that something in my thought process and understanding of the game started to click and come together to form a more complete overlook on the thought process of the game. When I look back at some of my old posts from years/months ago, I feel like half the stuff I said was completely dumb and incorrect. I'm starting to realize these flaws now.
I remember the first hand I ever posted on this site. I folded some open-ended straight flush draw on a turn getting great pot odds to call and I was convinced I made the perfect play. Once I got flamed by everybody, I realized that I really had some work to do to understand this game better. I continued to post hands and get flamed and started feeling discouraged. I'm not one to back down from a challenge but poker was getting frustrating and harder than I wanted to be. It took me almost a year and a half to beat NL 10 and I just really thought I was a complete failure.
Up into this year, I had also had a huge issue trying to move up in stakes. It wasn't that the stakes we're that much harder, it was just the size of the money led me to believe that I could bluff around more and get away with it. WRONG. I'd just end up spewing like 8-10BI and hating life. Through reading blogs and stories, I noticed that other people go through some of the same issues I did and are not alone, although these may be at various stake levels that are different than my own.
2011 has been a movement toward success so far. For 2009/2010, My roll was basically around 200-500 trying to beat NL 10 forever. This year alone, I've gone over 1K strictly playing NL 25. It's nice to beat a stake in a few months vs. a few years. I've stopped taking up the mentality "I'm a boss. I'm gonna own you noobs" and started taking up the mentality "You aren't good until you've proven you're good". I feel this mentality is a lot better for me because it reminds me that even if I have an edge and am a decent player I have to prove it for others to recognize it as well. No matter how good someone is in theory at their profession/game, they aren't good in comparison to anyone if they don't go out and show it.
I would again like to thank all you guys at liquidpoker for all the help you've given me, either through direct hand comments or from observing hand discussions from other people. I also believe the majority of you guys that post here are way better in comment quality and knowledge than a lot of people in the poker world. Lately, I've been checking out 2+2 forums recently and from what I've seen in the micro sections those regs don't know shit. You guys beat them by far imo. Also a big shout out to TalentedTom. I don't know how you come up with the shit you say but every single thing you post is like the most perfect explanation of any hand I've ever seen in my life and I have mad respect for you (no homo).
Anyway's gl liquidpoker with your grinding and thanks for all the help. I can only give so little back except my gratitude

Last week I was feeling pretty shitty after losing 1.5k taking a 2/4 shot. Wasn't the worst thing in the world cause I was already up 2k for the month and wanted to be adventurous but it still hurt a lot.
Today's play consisted of 3 sessions of shallow PLO, mostly at 1/2 and a few hundred hands of 2/4 while helping administer the USC/UCI SC2 Open LAN. Pretty sick accomplishment for me considering I don't play long sessions anymore and generally don't play more than a few hundred hands a day. I've been extremely conscious of table selection and don't play unless I get a great tables with a great seats.
Just wondering if there are any open home games available that anyone is hosting.
Got some $5.50 Home Game voucher for depositing again.
Anyone have one running that wants a 5.50 donation? lol
Seems like a waste to just let PStars keep it unused.
I think I heard somewhere to look for the PokerStars facebook page or something. But I could find no info on facebook about it.
